well in a small town such as this, it's alway nice to know your supporting a local and their business.
look how many times the kingdom market changed hands since jp sold it. jp had it for many many years. I guess it's just a smale community thing that happens.

They sell rotten food an wont refund your money ted would have never done that kingdom will get my money now an the health department will take care of teds you can only get so many people sick before some one says something. so if you dont want rotten food goto kingdoms market where the food isnt on sale cause its rotten

that place will go up for sale in a year or 2 after he fines out that the numbers won't be as good as the ones he saw on paper for the year Mike's Market closed it's doors. you see, don the new owner is not from here and had know idea why teds made all that money. ted you smarty you, you picked a perfect time to sell. now that is a smart business man if i ever saw one. LOL!!

Well, Toothless, maybe you shouldn't be buying so much beer anyway. Take your money and get some spelling lessons.
You probably miss Ted because he "let you run a tab" that you never paid. Those days are over pal.
You will have to charge it on your American Express Gold card...As for bad meat, you had better have your facts straight because posting something like that will likely get you sued for defamation if the sheriff can find your trailer court.

Ron, the new owner of Ted's still lets his customers run a tab. I do. Nothings changed except for the ownership.

i would just like to let you all know that i'm not a local and have been to ted's many times and have always been very happy with them, i was just there in july and was not aware of ted's being sold, i know that they were very busy and are always polite and treat their customers good and as for bad meat until i see it myself i will not comment, except that the meat has always been very good. I also went to the kingdom market and found it to be nice also. and i'm also a fan of supporting the locals opposed of big companies.

THATS THE ONLY ,reason why so many locals shoped in there anyways,i,m happy now folks should go to the kingdom market,now they got a great store over there, and don,t have to put up with a not so smart ted???

HA HA HA....You really don't know what you are talking about, do you? There are alot of town's people that shop at Ted's Market that do not have a tab! And besides what's so bad about having a tab there anyway? For the most part everyone (with exception of a few, maybe yourself included because you probably didn't pay your tab and got shut off and now your talking your *hit) pays there tab weekly, by-weekly, monthly. Or, they get shut off!!! And your (dont have to put up with a not so smart ted?) What's that supposed to mean? Are you friggin' kinding me? Ted is trying to retire and isn't at the store very much, and for a man that's "not so smart" he sure did a hell of a job for the past 30years to turn TED"S MARKET into what it is today!!! Glad to know that you shop at Kingdom's Market now, but I bet you still go to Ted's to get your beer and smokes because it's the cheapest in town, don't you? Just remember .....KARMA!!!! Ted's market is not Ted's market anymore. The new owner seems to think the locals in Island Pond are "deadbeats"...his words not mine. I'll be spending my $200 per month elsewhere.

I encourage you to do the same....and make sure you pay your slip!
