Lol I'm sure u don't see brand new mercedes sitting at low income. Maybe a piece of crap one. They prob bought with their lawsuit settlements that's how most of these people live. I think the police has done a good job getting a lot of the trash outta the area. Its just about impossible for them to take down every little pill, Ya know but I know drugs prescription and illegal are harder to get than 5 - 6 years ago. So they are doing something right

Well, these ppl deserve to have their asses ratted out! Why does everyone think it's ok to just close your eyes and pretend that this is happening right in front of us? Sorry but it is my business when I have kids to protect from your sorry drugged out used up asses! This area is so pathetic. Pills and booze seem to be more important to us than taking care of our families and our kids. Get a life! Get a job and get some sense!

Rats need to be listed. I like the website ' whosarat.com " and think we need one like it locally. I don't use or sell drugs anymore and I don't even smoke or drink but I believe everyone should be free to make their own choices.
I was a major player in the 80s and got out while I was on top in the early 90s.
At the time I was in business the FBI stated that there were only like 13 people living in the U.S. with the knowledge and ability to manufacture LSD, I knew 4 of them personally. In fact, if you took LSD on the east coast during the 80s there was a 1 in 8 chance that I had a hand in your trip. I also have connections with several other product manufacturers/dealers but I have resisted the lure to go back in business and enjoy the knowledge that even though I still remain on the FBI and US marshal's radar there is nothing that will make me cross that line and go back. I still maintain relationships with some of the old crew and we even have gotten together a time or two to hang out and talk about the old days but like me they have moved on and lead normal lives now.
I don't much care for what the drug scene has turned into these days and really don't care for all the pills that seem to be blowing everyones hair back. My thing was speed, grass and acid. These were fun drugs and actually enjoyable to use. In about 5 days of thinking I simply walked away and moved back here. I really don't understand addiction and maybe I'm special to the point of being able to drop at will anything including cigarettes.
Anyway, a rat is a rat and needs to be stopped. There are way too many people doing serious time for petty dope charges because of rats.

NO the druggies and the dealers need to be stopped! They should all be in jail! Why would you think that the person helping the cops is the one in the wrong? I understand how two faced it is if someone is selling or doing drugs themselves to do this to keep themselves out of trouble. That is bad but as a community we all need to stand up to help put these low lives behind bars! It's not ok to be out selling and taking a part in ruining these ppl's lives! We need to clean the streets of all the dealers and the druggies! So I say that if you know if and where it's happening, do your part and let them know! That is half of the problem. We sit back and watch it go on right under our noses!

I was once told by a Wise County Sheriff's Office deputy that 90% of Wise County is on drugs, I hope they have room at the Duffield Regional Jail for 8000 people...I can understand wanting to clean up your neighborhood and all but the drug laws in this country is seriously flawed. A man can get 10 years in prison for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. The same man would only get 3 years for malicious wounding i.e. cutting someone with a knife, shooting them, beating them senseless with a baseball bat. I'm thinking we could use the space better locking up people who are ACTUALLY harm other people.

Look, if you're going to get fifteen to twenty years as an top level dealer because of a rat you may as well serve the time concurrently with a murder charge. Heck, you may only have to serve nine if you get it knocked down to manslaughter and the rat will be gone so the dope charge may be gone as well.

Oh, BTW, I don't work anymore and live in a very nice split-level brick home in a upper middle class neighborhood. I own 8 lots there and have the biggest place and all the toys I want.
I know it pisses people off to see me living like this but hey, Im retired. Cut me some slack

listen u guys aare so dum!, ahaha idk what u pple are on, but um 8000 pple would make a city not a county. and the last time i checked, wise was no where close to being a city. u need 3000 pple to make a city, and i dont even think wise goes past that. so yeah all u pple need grow up. if pple do drugs thats their life, if u are worried about your kids, its your responsibility to teach them right from wrong. and if u fail to do so,and they so happen to end up on drugs dont blame drug addicts for encouraging your kids to do whatever drug they are doing. so yes keeping ur kids away from drugs starts with in the home. make sure u preach to ur kids before u go preaching to any one else. mkay?

@Whack, check the U.S. Census bureau and you will see the City of Norton has a population of a little over 3000 people, the ENTIRE county of Wise has a population of a little over 41,000. So my "8000" people estimate was light, again I'll repeat it in case you didn't comprehend what I said before, the Wise County Sheriff's Deputy told me that 90% of WISE COUNTY was on drugs, so, that means you will have to lock up 40,000 people...Good luck on your "Drug Free World", cause I don't think it's gonna happen.

Here is a link to the U.S. Census Bureau just in case you can't find it:

The dealers are the ones who need to be stopped, all of these poor teenagers that are on drugs are the ones that are going to be taking care of us when we get old, we need to put an end to it NOW.

The complete legalization of marijuana is the only way to get rid of dealers. I absolutely hate when people call marijuana a "Gateway" drug. They are looking for something to blame so they blame the damned plant...It's not marijuana that is the gateway, and it's not the dealer, it's the USER. Sure, the dealer is going to say "Hey, if ya liked dat weed I had you'll love this shit", but it's up to the user to say, "Nah, I'll just take a $30 bag". Apparently people don't realize they can actually say no.
