And if Eddie Joe Estep is involved you know it isn't legit. That guy is a complte joke. I bet this is Jim Justice trying to reduce his labor costs by getting rid of his existing employees and hiring lots of desperate umemployed miners. And it might just work. With well over one hundred more coal burning power plants switching from coal to natural gas and biofuels the market for steam coal is going to collapse over the next few years. Deal with it coal industry.

Now they have 2000 names, addresses, and social security numbers. They won't need to open a coal company

Considering most power plants seem to be switching from coal to natural gas I doubt they will ever go back to work. The coal miners must deal with reality. Coal is dying. Time to ger retrained for other jobs.

The lay offs and scare tactics telling the miners it was Obama, was just a tactic to get the miners and their families, the few of them to vote republican. I wonder how used they feel? Because they should. we all know the Republicans do not care about the sick and elderly or the opportunity for poor people to get a good education.

Yeah well the country is broke and there is only so much the government can do when it's out of money. But you make a few good points.
