I attended it for a while and loved it ! I really felt God's Spirit in the church and the people there too .My kids also loved the sunday school and the youth group. They really care about their young people . and I also liked the preacher, seemed very humble and sincere. I hAve always had only good things to say about this church.there is probably always going to be a bad apple in every basket, but you cannot throw out the whole basket because of the one bad. The only reason we left was because we moved out of town , or we would still be going there .

They're pretty hypocritical.

Also, you don't need to feel God's presence or whatever to be a Christian. I thought God was already present in you if you're a Christian?

I'm agnostic anyway.

I think that shows !!!If you dont understand that being a Christian is being full of Gods spirit , and you should feel it and be a witness to others ,you really must not have any idea of the basics of religion. God wants His children to be a light unto others . I really do feel sorry for someone who beleives there is no Heaven to look forward to , life would be pointless . I pray that you do give church a try. Bless you.

I was very much involved in church. I do think the Bible is a great book but that's it, it's a book. God didn't write it. It's been revised so many times to suit men. Many people within the church drove me to Agnosticism.

Several churches pretty much preach that we're supposed to be seperated from the world, which I do not agree with and I don't think God wants his children (every person in the world, Buddhist, Atheist, Muslim, Taoist, Shinto, Confucian, Pagan, Witch, Jewish, Voodoo, Wiccan, etc.) to be seperate from each other.

I believe in God. I just don't know what I believe about him and I'd rather you not tell me how to believe in him. That's what drove me to Agnosticism in the first place.

I am an Agnostic Theist.

To add to my past post, just because I don't let a book be the only thing that drives my life or believe in God in the same manneer as you do, doesn't make my life pointless.

My life has a point to it, thank you.

I do apologize to you, I quess I don't really understand the true meaning of agnostic.and I didn't mean to offend you in any way, by saying your life was pointless. I quess I just meant that to me, if I didn't have Heaven to look forward to , it would seem pointless to me and I didnt mean that you should feel the way I was talking about , I just meant that a Christian should feel that way. I just have a hard time explaining the way that I feel, I did not intend to offend in any way. I would just love for everyone to feel Gods love in their life as I do, but again, that is a personal choice, isnt it ?? And I am so glad that we live in a country where we are free to make that choice !I wish you a good life !!!

That's not the part people complain about. It's how a lot of them act like they are high and mighty. I appreciate what many churches do for underprivileged people. That's what should be done.

I just don't know what I believe about God and I'm not fond of a lot of the things from when I went to Third Wave.
