"...the shortcomings of immigration policy: officials who do not exercise prosecutorial discretion in favor of undocumented immigrants who are otherwise law abiding."

The definition for law abiding for illegal aliens is quite different for citizens. Citizens can get at least 15 yrs for identity theft, illegal aliens get citizenship!!! Not considered a serious crime!

I don't understand why they didn't deport her to China. It's China's responsibility to get their citizen back and get to the bottom of this kind of trade...not the US!!!

Adopt them when their babies, molest them at 14, then marry them at 19. It worked for Woody Allen.

Sexual trafficking is largely seen as something that happens abroad, but the underground sex trade is very much alive in the United States especially for minors, according to a new report from the National Colloquium on Shelter and Services for Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking Victims

Hundreds of thousands of US human trafficking - debunked by Village Voice.

http://www.villagevoice.com/2011-06-29/news/r...

In a 2 yr Bureau of Justice investigation into human trafficking, here were the findings:

1. Federally funded task forces opened 2,515 suspected incidents of human trafficking for investigation between January 2008 and June 2010.

2. About 8 in 10 of the suspected incidents of human trafficking were classified as sex trafficking, and about 1 in 10 incidents were classified as labor trafficking.

3. The confirmed human trafficking incidents open for at least a year led to 144 known arrests.

http://www.bjs.gov/index.cfm...

Wow, 144 arrests in 2 yrs. Either someone is lying about the "hundreds of thousands" or the FBI aren't doing their jobs. I suspect it's the former.
