WHO, you disgust me. This article talks about happiness and fulfillment a people making a better lives for these children and all you can do is spit venom and make fun of it? Keep your mouth shut if you have nothing nice to say.

If American women would stop killing their unborn, American families would not have to wait so long for a baby.

WHO - Has someone pooped in your Wheaties this morning or is this your normal response to children of a different ethnicity and adults who adopt them?

WHO FLUNG DUNG:
Why do you feel inferior? Perhaps you are not very bright? Not very attractive? Maybe both? How sad. Only a person with an inferiority complex would post such trash. You have some serious issues.

Go back to the middle ages where women died during childbirth, You are an idiot/why don't you start having babies (will be retarded) and give them to childless couples. That is how stupid you sound.

Happy to see that the multitudes have properly labelled this as an inflammatory remark. Proud to be a parent in a family formed by adoption--but we came together out of a mutual need, not because someone was coralled into carrying through a pregnancy.

HarrySack:

You stated "go fornicate thyself". Well, that is impossible since fornication requires two people. The definition: "Sexual intercourse between partners who are not married to each other."

Of course, your mind is too small to use really big words correctly.

I know adoption is wonderful, because I am an adoptive parent. However, I would like to send the message to all prospective families who are looking to adopt to please consider adopting foster children from you communities. We have so many children needing homes and their are babies available to adopt again I know this because 2 of my children were newborns and 1 of them was two years old. And there are so many older children who need families to love them and when I decide to adopt again I am requesting an older child. You will have all the same issues whether you adopt overseas or you adopt here. Please consider our foster children and learn about it. I also paid zero dollars to adopt 3 children. So all the risk you my have is sometimes heartbreak, however heartbreak can also happen overseas. God Bless and congratulations to all the adoptive parents it truly is a blessing.

As an adoptive parent through CCAI, I would like to point out that they also do adoptions for the counties of Ethiopia, and Haiti. Not just China.

Foster Parent, that sounds great. We actually tried to adopt children from foster care - twice. Children's Services was only interested in placing teenage children with us and both had very severe behavior problems. Children's Services put a stop to the adoption in the first situation because of the behavior issues. The child disrupted in the second case because he had a long history of smoking, drug use, theft, and running away (which Children's Services did not disclose to us - and he ran away from our house twice in four months. Of course, most adoption caseworkers didn't even return phone calls.

If you are still interested in adoption, remember that there are 88 counties in the state of Ohio, and 88 separate childrens' services agencies. Some are easier to work with than others (Cuyahoga has some notoriety for being difficult, Athens has generally been know for good family support post-adoption). If you have a home study (or can get one through one of the private agencies, you can contact the individual agencies. There used to be a parent registry, as well as child photo-registries. Seems like I heard recently that these were budget victims. Remember, in the end, it is God who makes matches and placement, not all the people running around. The people were gone as soon as the ink had dried (pretty much any way)--but God has hung with us, even through the problems (and I could write a book). Blessings on you and don't give up your search if that is the way that you are being called.
