Novi board to look at privatizing services: Custodians, bus drivers concerned about jobs

The Novi Community Schools Board of Education will be looking at privatizing custodial and transportation services at its meeting next Thursday in an effort to help the district prepare for looming cuts.

Not knowing how many custodians work for Novi schools,i can say that you don't save much money.Hidden costs and the lack of having consistent help in your schools is a major concern.As far as transportation that would be a significant savings.
