Well, Judge David Thompson,
this is great news for the residents of Topanga Canyon!

I assume that you don't live there.

One more time,
political correctness outweighs common sense.

How did this clown get to be a judge, anyway?

wow, theres another stupid judge protecting the rapist and not the community. Well we just see how long before he does another horrible crime. If you live in Topanga I would be very, very careful. write this judge and find out where this sicko lives and get him out of your neighborhood and of course lock your childern up. And who is the idiot's friend he is going to live with, get her out of there too. GOOD LUCK!

This is how good our system of thinking is:
The District Attorney's Office argued otherwise, claiming he had a preoccupation with sex; was violent toward former girlfriends; stalked a former girlfriend and lacked the ability to follow rules under parole supervision.

and then.....
Davison is scheduled to live with a former girlfriend and her boyfriend in Topanga Canyon, authorities said.

another fine example of how our criminal justice system is a complete and total failure! He should have been put to death by hanging after the very first offense. He is a worthless human and nothing more than a danger and burden to the community.

There is a whole history here of violent sexual acts against adults and children Judge David Thompson. Who will be Frederick Davison's next victims? Yes 'victim's'. Davidson's disgusting and sick acts did not just affect the immediate victim for the rest of their lives, but their families and friends as well. How about you invite Davidson to live at your house or in your neighborhood? Sound good? I think it does, I think that is a great idea.

How is being a violent rapist a mental condition in the first place? At least we're being told about him being released and where, unlike most cases like this where you find out after the criminal has raped or murdered again.

I'm so sick of people who buy in to fear and hate. This guy has been in prison for years and then committed to a State Mental Hospital for treatment. He obviously got through that program and was deemed a low enough risk to reenter society.
Sex offenders are treated as subhuman. Now before you start saying how they should all be killed just think about what that says about your humanity.
Can a person pay for their crimes and reenter society?
Can a person face their wrong acts and choose to be better?
Does healing only apply to victims? Don't you think perpetrators of crime need to heal as well?
Is a person only as good as the worst thing they've ever done?
As decent people we need to allow other people the ability to work for their own redemption and not just scream "Kill them, Kill them" or demonizing officials with some humanity.

It is really a shame when someone can be so disgusting in the things they can do not only to an adult but, to a child. When you forcefully take what is not yours you are a thief in earlier times you could lose your life for stealing by being stoned. Maybe if some of these sick molesters and rapist knew they could look forward to possibly losing there life instead of getting a slap on the wrist they would think twice. For the real sick ones they should be locked away for life or put to death if they take a life an eye for an eye. They will never stop it's like being in an abusive relationship they don,t stop

well all the liberals in Topanga can finally practice what they preach and support his re-entry into society. Maybe he can work at one of those cute boutiques.

I'm willing to bet he would have received a longer sentence if he molested the judge's kid.

You cannot let these people run amok in society. Let the judge have him live in his neighborhood. It is said that child molesters have a gene that is passed on that makes them do this awful thing. Simple solution, death, cleans the gene pool from it getting passed on.

Yeah, he's not crazy, just a dangerous pervert. The crazy people are the judge and the mental health professionals who let him loose. Anybody with 1 eye and 1/2 a brain knows this guy will hunt again, and to avoid 25 years in prison, he will likely kill. That's how it works, and anyone with 1 eye and 1/2 a brain and a little life experience knows this, EXCEPT Judges and Mental Health Professionals. Those crazy, dangerous idiots should be locked up as well. Maybe if he'd raped the Judge's daughter or the mental health experts' daughter, they'd disabuse themselves of their dangerous ignorance. Once again, screw the public, reward the miscreant.

Maybe if the judge's Grandaughter or other close relative was the one assaulted he or she would feel differently about keeping this psycho in the community.

I hate this guy because he is evil. If you hurt a child then yeah, you are only as good as that for the rest of your life because the child has that burden for the rest of their life, without ever having a choice. Decent people protect the innocent. Indecent people promote the guilty.

It's not fear and hate. He will hunt again, and facing 25 years the next time he's caught, he'll likely kill again. This is a very long and well established pattern with people who do this sort of thing. They do not rehabilitate, and anyone with 1/2 a brain and 1 eye and some life experience has observed this and knows this. But hey, who knows, maybe next time he'll rape and kill your child and you can have compassion on him and tell him how much you think he's a great guy.

Here's a chilling fact for us all to ponder....
Topanga Canyon provides a perfect outlet for this guy since all he has to do is walk to the beach. That same beach where the kids feel safe, where the bikinis and thongs tempt his "illness", where kids can go by themselves without supervision due to our taxdollars subsidizing beach buses and Take a Kid to the Beach type programs that provide free transportation for impoverished inner-city kids and kids at risk (again paid for by you and I meaning that we could be held responsible for subsequent actions by this perv being released so close to what amounts to a Perv Candy Store).
There are also many parks and open space wilderness areas adjacent to Topanga, providing yet more opportunities for some other children to suffer at the hands of this molester?
Now to really get a little worked up, add in that our state budget has forced the reduction of many services - ENFORCEMENT & SECURITY - to be severely cut which adds to the extreme danger being poised to the public with the release of this guy.

He's got himself a Perfect Storm and all thanks to our tax dollars being mismanaged and misappropriated by people pretending to protect and support each of us.

Great job Judge David Thompson!

You Fool.

Who wants to bet we will hear about a triple murder suicide (stand off) in Topanga within a month?

When he strikes again he will flee.
