I was told Empire Pacific Windows are in the builder grade quality. Empire Pacific Windows is manufactured in Oregon. Empire Pacific Windows Lifetime Warranty is lifetime that is transferable for only 10 years. Glass Breakage in NOT included. Window screens are only warrantied 1 year. If your home in not single family it is considered multi-family. Multi-family warranty come with a 10 year warranty which includes only 5 years labor. Glass Breakage in NOT included. Window screens are only warrantied 1 year. Commercial warranty is the same as multi-family warranty.

Does anyone have Empire Pacific Windows installed in their home? Pro's/Con's? How is Empire Pacific Window's Warranty Service?

I am a re modeler in Oregon I have been using EPW for about 10 years. I find them to be a good quality window for the money.
I have only dealt with warranty issues within the first year and very few of those, I have been very satisfied with their response and customer service.

In California there is no warranty service by Empire Pacific Windows. Empire Pacific Window is not located in the state of California so they don't have any service teams their.

We have been an Empire Pacific dealer in Oregon for at least 15 years. We sell their windows into California all the time. They have their own warranty crew and handle warranty issues into California all the time, and timely.
They are in my Top Two Window Brands, and it is because they make a quality product...and they stand behind their product.

Maybe in Oregon they have warranty service but in Southern California they don't. I have not had a good experience with Empire Pacific Windows. Still waiting for a call back from last month. Faxed in all my paperwork and still nothing.

We are totally satisfied with the quality and appearance of our Empire Pacific windows.

So happy in fact, we ordered more !!! And these are budget-minded windows !!!

They are lower priced that Pella that Lowe's sells and some of the salesmen swear they are a fine window.

I TOTALLY AGREE and want to THANK Empire Pacific !!!

This is a great window for the price. I had several quotes on windows for my home and this is the best value for your dollar. It was extremely well priced compared to everything else out there. Just a good quality energy efficient window. No frills and no BS, just a quality vinyl window. This was exactly what I was looking for and I am very happy with these windows. I do notice quite a significant difference in my utility bills.

I replaced all my house windows with Empire Pac. vinyl in 2008, and love them. They look and perform great. Bought at Lowe's and installed by local company. Shortly after installation, someone shot a BB through one of the windows, and an EPW tech came out and replaced both panes for free even though it wasn't a wsarranty covered issue. Good customer service. Also had a problem later with a single hung window spring (installed incorrectly, not EPW problem), and they came out and fixed for free. I understand they do have a manufacturing facility in Northern California now.

Good track record with all the Empire Pacific windows except for their custom type half circle window that usually goes above a slider. The gas must have slowly leaked out and, over the last 5-8 years an intricate algae or mildew have formed inside. How do I get it repaired/replaced?

We had 25 windows and slider replaced with EPI about 8 years ago. We have recently noticed one of our windows must have lost ther seal and it has glazed in between the two panes of glass. We contacted the Window Company, and were just told that our "lifetime warranty" is null and void because that company has sold out to another and they will not honor that warranty. Were we told an accurate statement?

EPW is now owned by

I was told their warranty for EPW windows is only applicable to original owner and for glass was purchased after 2007 they will measure your window and make a new one at no cost but they will not install. You have to hire a glass company to do that at your expense. They will deliver replacement window to your glass company.
I do not know this is 100 percent accurate. You should contact them.
