Riley OKs reward in Northport killing

Gov. Bob Riley approved a $10,000 reward Tuesday for information leading to the killer of the Northport teenager who was found dead six weeks ago in his Biscayne Hills residence.

Thanks to Governor Riley for the Reward money.
The murder of my wonderful Jeremy Scott "Scotty" Cockrell on June 22,2006 remains unsolved. It was a brutal murder with no clear motive.His father and Larrah his sister and Leigh and I his mother grieve with every breath we are given over this heinous crime and we want justice for Scotty and us and all his many friends.
