I had twenty rounds once. But when I washed them with my shirt, Anj took them away from me.

I actually went to school with Aaron from the time we were in jr. high school. He was a very nice kid who had mental issues as an adult. For everyone to make a joke of this is not cool. He has a family out there that is suffering a very public loss. Be thankful that he did not hurt anyone other than himself. Have some compassion. This could happen to anyone in just about every family out there. Be kind. You never know who could be reading your hurtful words.
thanks!

Although I do admit that beaver and river made me laugh histerically, I feel awful.

I DROVE by the building when all the commotion was going on outside - surreal indeed.

I don't think they needed to kill the guy - it would have been a much more interesting story if they DIDN'T - maybe we would have learned about mental illness, at the very least.

From the first I heard of this incident I knew he had to have mental issues. My heart breaks for his family and I am sorry for your loss.

The dude had a gun. Sorry, but when you start waving a gun around cops, you're gonna get shot. And rightfully so I might add.

What a sad situation. I really feel for his family and for the Trooper that shot him. This is a terrible situation for all involved. My thoughts and prayers are with them all.

It's very sad to see how low of a priority mental health treatment is in this state. Hopefully, this incident will open peoples eyes and show congress that mental health needs to be a priority. How many more people have to die before the government takes action and works on improving the current funding for mental health.

A person with that level of mental illness is very dangerous (obviously). Let's see, he had a gun AND a hunting knife and even ear muffs for shooting. I think that this shooting is most likely going to be justified. I'm just glad that no one else was hurt and/or killed. I feel for this man because of his mental illness, but that does not mean that others should lose their lives because of it.

Did they really need to shoot him twice in the head and once in the chest? What happened to shooting them in the legs?

Counting my blessings, you went to school with Aaron? That is a coincidence. And I agree, everyone who makes fun of this situation is not cool, and when I wrote 'What a crazy fellow' I did not mean anything bad. I feel for every person invovled and give my blessings.
