No they are not only peons trying to be rambo they are police who arent out to hurt and corrupt or community. We need to have more officers like that. I think they are very curagouse to not only persue a lawsuit against the corrupt goverment and police but to let the media and public in on what we taxpayers are paying for. There here to Protect An Serve not corrupt our world.

I'm not surprised by this at all. I once knew someone who worked for North Metro and I wouldn't have trusted him with even a nickel, let alone with serving and protecting the community. Corruption was going on within NMTF back then as well.

I was just figuring, with tens of thousands of medical marijuana users in Colorado and more than 100 thousand medical marijuana users in California (and a vote coming up in soon in California to legalize marijuana for recreational use), that calculates to millions of dollars PER MONTH no longer going into the hands of illegal drug dealers from Mexico. Instead, the money is staying in the states of Colorado and California and being taxed.

I am amazed that the people complaining the most about legalizing marijuana are DA's and Congressmen while Drug wars escalate in Mexico as more and more people buy their marijuana in the USA from dispensaries whose owners buy from local grow operations and who DO NOT push harder drugs like cocaine and heroin that comes from Mexico, South America, and the middle east.

Am I the only one that remembers the reports not too long ago in our history about the CIA being involved in the illegal drug trade in South America to raise funds for their illegal operations? That would explain today why Federal police show up once in a while to destroy local grow operations and press Federal charges against Colorado citizens whose business is protected by our State Constitution (even though the President said he would back them off).

A little bit more about the truth is coming out about how it is all about the money when Congressmen and DAs throw a fit about legalizing medical marijuana. They tossed this guy to the wolves to create a diversion, IMO. If it's not about the money they make from selling it themselves, it is about the money to subsidize the judicial system in the form of criminal arrests yielding them criminal fines, "restitution to the community", community service, jails costs, probation/parole costs, drug and alcohol classes and counseling costs, etc. And if it not about either of the two, maybe it is about the money the Federal government is making from the illegal drug trade in South America and middle east. Either way, we seem to be pi$$ing a lot of their oatmeal these days. And good for us!!!

The FBI might want to do themselves a favor and look at corruption in drug law enforcement a little bit harder. In doing so, they might soon realize that the Attorney General's office and the DEA are attempting to cover-up, discredit and disregard (yes, all at the same time) scientific evidence which proves cannabis to be a safe and effective medicine for many ailments.
Regardless of how they try to spin it, this means there is absolutely no way that "marijuana" now fits the strict criteria for being considered a "schedule I narcotic." If it's not the responsibility of the DEA to know the laws they are enforcing, then who's is it? The Attorney General seems like the logical choice, but given that he issued a memo to address an issue which he then "officially" fails to recognize indicates to me that he is perhaps confused--but what do I know, maybe it is possible to acknowledge something without actually acknowledging it. Kinda like it all depends on what your definition of "is" is...

I am NOT surprised. We have had neighbors that blatently dealt drugs on our shared front porch to the degree that we captured it on our surveillance cameras (needed because they were also thieves). Transferred this to a DVD, gave it to the Chief of Police who forwarded it to a Neighborhood Liaison officer - who claimed they were "too small potato" for them to be concerned about!
Wow. Caught on tape dealing crack and it's not important enough to bust them. Corruption? No problem. And we wonder why civility is gone? No one gives a damn anymore.

Marijuana proceeds no longer going into the hands of illegal drug dealers? Is that what I read? Where do you think the MJ at the dispensary comes from? Sure there are a few residential grows, but primarily, it still comes from those same illegal drug dealers. I think you people have smoked a little too much yourselves, making you too dumb and paranoid to use common sense. Legalizing the stuff is going to allow every moron around to grow and the number of home invasions is going to spike radically, as we have already seen in the short time this medical MJ BS has been around. Medicinal purposes my a$$!!!
