SIGH!!!!!

Why run and then reach into your waistband? Even if suspect had no intention of pulling a pistol or even having one, why scare the officers into defending themselves?

Why are some people that stupid?

Why are some people that stupid?
CAUSE THEY ARE, EVEN MORE STUPID THAN TRYING TO STEAL A MOTORCYCLE.

Because now he can say, that while he was running his pants started to fall down. And all he was tring
to do was pull them up, when the officer shot him.
Now he can claim a law suit aginst tne Northglenn Police Department.

I guarantee you this officer was not aiming at the suspect's leg and had no intention of merely "disabling" him. This type of procedure is not given anywhere in POST academy training or as part of Northglenn PD's on-going firearms in-service training. Anytime an officer draws and fires his weapon his intention is to use deadly force. This dirtbag punk happened to get off lucky.

When are we going to appreciate the plight of the common American car thief? Think about it. They almost always have to work the night shift. Which means they have to try and sleep during the day, and put up with FedEx drivers and solicitors knocking on their doors while they're trying to sleep. Then there are the neighbors who have the nerve to mow their lawns, and on and on.

So they're already dead tired when they go to work at night, and low and behold, some cop has the nerve to confront them and shoot them. Talk about a tough job (the thief, I mean). We really need to put ourselves in their shoes and show some compassion.

When this guy gets out of the hospital/jail, take him a casserole or something.

How the H do you know? Cops have brains and can easily make common sense decisions in the field. They aren't dogs or robots. I'm betting the cop shot him where he meant to shoot him.

Oh Robby, you know good and well you'd have run like a scared little rabbit and hit your little self under your pillow, peeing your pants in the process.

If you read "Inside Delta Force", you'll learn the difference between how a properly trained military operative learns to take down a target as opposed to LEO's who are just trained to fire a weapon.
