Over prescribing for profits and driving the normal mind into a state of addiction and mind alteration is what the problem is about along with other political consideration since the Reagan/ H. E. Bush presidency.

No wonder our prescription drug prices are so high. The mental health is stealing from us while poisoning and creating chemical insanity for their profits and disrupting the society with murder and violence as a result of the drugs.

Mental health personal: Make a sign with this statement to hang on your door: Going out of business.

This is just one small state in the USA and it's territories.

Psychiatrists Top List in Drug Maker Gifts

WASHINGTON, June 26 — As states begin to require that drug companies disclose their payments to doctors for lectures and other services, a pattern has emerged: psychiatrists earn more money from drug makers than doctors in any other specialty.
How this money may be influencing psychiatrists and other doctors has become one of the most contentious issues in health care. For instance, the more psychiatrists have earned from drug makers, the more they have prescribed a new class of powerful medicines known as atypical antipsychotics to children, for whom the drugs are especially risky and mostly unapproved.
Vermont officials disclosed Tuesday that drug company payments to psychiatrists in the state more than doubled last year, to an average of $45,692 each from $20,835 in 2005. Antipsychotic medicines are among the largest expenses for the state’s Medicaid program.
Over all last year, drug makers spent $2.25 million on marketing payments, fees and travel expenses to Vermont doctors, hospitals and universities, a 2.3 percent increase over the prior year, the state said.
The number most likely represents a small fraction of drug makers’ total marketing expenditures to doctors since it does not include the costs of free drug samples or the salaries of sales representatives and their staff members. According to their income statements, drug makers generally spend twice as much to market drugs as they do to research them.
“For the fourth year in a row, our analysis shows that there is a great deal of money being spent in our small state on marketing pharmaceutical products,” said William H. Sorrell, the Vermont attorney general.

Would that be Helen Edwina Bush or Heloise Eunice Bush?

Yup, I agree it's all just a big crap sundae with sh!t sprinkles on top. But what can you do. Dig a bomb shelter, walk around the house yelling at the walls, or blow yer brains out. Except for a very few of the very rich if you're fifty or over, you won't be able to have enough to live on pretty soon so there are your options. Personally, I kinda like Randy Newman's solution. Let's drop the big one. Let's Nuke the mid east with a cobalt bomb so it just kills the whack jobs but doesn't leave any contamination. Same for China cuz they're just trying to poison us, and come up with a more deadly bird flu to mix with our dog food. Then so that it looks like it was someone else, let's nuke the South Bronx, Las Vegas, and L.A. cuz there's nothing in those places but pimps , whores , and lawyers. Wadya think there Rufus, Whatcha gonna do about it? Me, I'll have another Captain and Coke please. Oh, bartender.

Given the physiological differences between the so called "mentally ill" and the "normal", what would a proper and healthy chemical "balance" look like?"
If we respect metabolic changes based on daily dietary habits, weight gain / loss , terms of the survival of the organisms as a person age along with physical conditioning, physical illness, electrolyte level, gender differences , body temperature, I don't see where the Mental Health and Counseling Industry could conform to any consistency in data with consideration to the above to state a person has a mental disease or illness based on chemical imbalance.

8 million children in the USA with ADD/ADHD and a large community of those that are depressed on psychotropic drugs along with those that have bi-polar or some other mental infliction including PMS problems or post partum depression on serious psychotropic drugs that alter judgment as recorded by murders, suicides and accidents in court records and with the MHC being unscientific, and the pharmacutical industries having bogus or undeclared test results, you say that I shouldn't have an interest in my own safety or that of my family and friends? Have you ever thought of the political aspect of the mental health and counseling industry (thought police) and the reasons for all this psychotropic drugs. Research back to the Reagan/H. E. Bush presidency and you'll find the intrusion of the mental health and counseling with the social service starting and their propaganda in the school system. Then recognize the Bush boys employment with Eli Lilly. Then think "New World Order" (NAFTA). That's why I have a concern.
