Yes, a real man! Kicking the crap out of a 17 month old child. Karma will follow you all the way to Stillwater.

Why bail? The guy is obviously a danger, what Einstein decided he should get bail? Injuries dating back 6 months before his death, the mother didn't know something was wrong with her baby? How clueless do you have to be?

"Hokanson's family split their time between relatives' homes in Northfield and Pierce County, Wis. " - can't afford an apartment, but decided to pop a kid. Not to mention that she was rid of the baby-daddy and married to someone else in less than 17 months...

Mandatory life in prison is good. Mandatory electrocution is better.

Time for Minnesota to bring back the death penalty. If ever a case deserved that kind of punishment - this one does!

I've about had it with these stories, yet like so many others, I feel helpless.

Woman, you need to clean up your priorities. STOP putting your children at risk just to have some loser guy to share a bed with. IT'S NOT LOVE, and you are putting your childeren at risk.

Bail for beating a child to death? That needs to stop, too. lock them up and throw away the key and allow the inmates to kick the **** out of him, like he did to a defensless baby. Throw the mother in there along with animals. She's at least as deserving of it as he is.

I think I'm going to be sick....

How strange we humans are, we have to have a license to marry, drive or fish. There is a test for the one to drive, for the one to fish you sort of have to appear normal for a short time, the one to marry not sure what you have to prove BUT to have children it is assumed that it is an act of God and a blessing etc. Therefore we further assume a parent will never harm a child. I guess we got that wrong.

Put him in a bull pen with one mean, angry and hungry bull. Let him run around and beg for his life, then shut out the lights. We need to STOP protecting the criminals. He should have no rights.

The families that these two pieces of crap split their time between should also be charged. How could they not know or see the child was abused , tortured, neglected and the list goes on. These family members are also the lowest of humanity and should have some consequence as well. If you know them or see them, exercise your right of freedom of speech and tell them what crap they are, and they raised two murders.

The mother of the child and Tylar Hokansons wife live there in Northfield, probably with the same family that sat by and did nothing while these two parents tortured their child until he died. If you live near by or see these people make sure you let these bottom feeders know how you feel about their lack of action. They are guilty of neglect with the consequence being the death of the child. I hope they are charged felony neglect .

Tylar Hokanson should be put to death the same way he killed Little Nickolas. He should be shown no mercy. As for the defense attourneys, your the lowest form of life there is, how can you protect an animal and live with yourself? How can you sleep at night? Tylar I hope you suffer because no pain is to great for you to indure. How is it that no one seen what was happening, Melissa how can a mother allow someone to do this to your child. You should never have the chance to be a mother again. No mother who loves there children, could be so cruel. Justice needs to happen, your families knew, no one is that unknowing. Your their to protect your loved ones not to be blind to the horror that took place. Melissa you should have called 911 then rushed to his side when you heard him scream in terror. A Mother knows, you knew.

Not the Grandmother in this family thank God. I believe in justice for Nickolas. I believe in God, and you should never be forgiven for this Horrific act you commited. Just to clarify, no relation to this family.
