I lived in Chicago for most of my life and my dad lived there until he died last year.
Did I know drunken cops? Yes. Did I know and know of violent cops? Yes. But I also knew many cops who were fine citizens and officers. And as far as Daley is concerned, I think some of you suburbanites need to look at your own village halls to see graft and political BS. I don't know what really happened with this guy, but his actions, if found to be criminal, occurred because he's a jerk and not because he is a cop. |

Wrong Barney Fife, it's false arrest. I hope this woman filed suit accordingly. Where was the probably cause for the arrest? Yes, that's what its called when handcuffs are applied. |
|
|
This guy is the perfect poster child for Chicago Police... Fat, drunk, lazy pig, picking on innocent civilians.

I'm just glad they outlawed smoking in bars instead of alcohol. After all, smoking makes people become violent, causes the inability to drive SAFELY home, and may even cause someone to pass out in a stranger's bushes on their way home. In case you didn't pick up on what I am saying...I'M BEING SARCASTIC.

Ha ...The Daley mob will flip backwards getting this creep promted, all the making of a fine Chicago Police Officer...To Beat and Cover up...is their new motto made famous by the JR. FBI boy who daley keeps on a short lease or he might smell corruption, but he won't turn on the hand that stuffs money in his pockets now.

This kid is crazier than a jar full of roaches.I knew he was a loose cannon. I know one thing. You don't ever cut him off in a bar without getting pistol whipped. This kid hates everybody and would have hunted down the Police Board if they terminated him in 2006. They made a wise decision on their own behalf. But now this fragile 61 year old and his old lady are lumped up and suffering the consequences of that decision.

I'll be shocked when I read about a CPD NOT beating someone in a bar. Keep them coming Chicago's finest! I love stories like this!

I never beat up nobody that didn't deserve it. I don't stand around while some chick is getting her sconce bounced off of a bar. That dude is lucky I am CPD because that saved his life. She asked me to dance because I was looking buff and hot that night. I had on my $300.00 Hawks jersey and I think she thought I was Chris Chelios or something. I pushed that jackass and that was the end of it.

On the face of it, this looks like an open and shut case.
NOT SO FAST! Wait 'til we're apprised of all the facts (not that we'll get it from the news, but, that's all we got). We're getting all nasty and opinionated with scant little true facts. No defense for people who get the badge bully mentality, but, it's all too easy to judge a book by its cover. This guy LOOKS like a nefarious bully, but so many heroes have that same look. I'll wait and see. |
|
Actually it's not smart guy, but thanks for pretending you know what you're talking about.(I watch a lot of police shows on TV so I know what I'm talking about!) Big difference between being temporarily detained and being under arrest. |

What is this little D-Bag doing taking away from my fame. The little female dog could not if pound the helpless victim good, I say kick the loser out of the department for being a weenie!

I applied for a job with the Chicago Police Department but they rejected me becasuse I only weigh 300 pounds.
They told me the minimum weight for a Chicago cop is 350! |
|
Wasn't it your brain cell count. |

Dear Julie: You better brush up on your constitutional law and the part about search, seizure and lawful arrests. A traffic violation is indeed a probable cause/justification to further investigate an individual, and a police officer can search the vehicle (only parts that are accessible to the person). And yes, a police officer can detain an individual while conducting a field investigation for a reasonable period of time. |
|
You have no idea what you're talking about. There could be a dozen reasons someone is asked to exit their vehicle and placed into handcuffs. Just because someone is cuffed does not mean they're under arrest. You are clueless and should stop speaking. |
