Have any of your dumb asses ever heard of that thing called POSTPARDOM DEPRESSION

Any "dumb ass" knows postpardom depression does not kick in at the moment of birth, stupid. Too many bleeding hearts in this country, that is exactly why she was relased ROR.

It's POSTPARTUM, and yes it's very unlikely that can be used as an excuse for the first 10 minutes after delivery

Wow...It's sad to hear about this incident. I am not defending this behavior by any means, however, there had to be something wrong with this lady for her to do something this insane. The thing I find astonishing is that she has two other children. What is going to happen to them? My only hope is that they are OK. Can she ever be trusted with any of her other children again? Sad...very sad...

Thanks for the support Megg. I know that when the time is right it will happen, until then I will just keep praying. Thanks!
Just have to tell you that if anyone tells you that it will happen when you give up, they may have a point...
I was 1 month short of 39, the age by which I figured I had to stop hoping because 40 seemed to old (for me) to become a first-time mother. Quit my job to see if I could find work actually using my college degree, but wanted to take a couple of months to see what it would be like to be a full-time wife & homemaker. Almost exactly 1 month later I discovered I was pregnant - and unlike my first 2 pregnancies, this one was successful! That was over 15 years ago. By the way, I was right - I can't imagine how I would manage if I had been older than I was.
Best of luck!

I love stories like yours! Gives hope to the rest of us who are trying/had trouble conceiving. I am sure you are a great mom and certainly not too old :-)

There is an Andrew Calmar that lives in Bethlehem that has a my space page. It says he is only 23 yrs. old.
It says he is married, but it also says that he is living with his fiancee & her son.
That is the right one -- and his "new" fiance is stripper, not sure if she's still doing it or not but she seems to think it was a moral decision to get naked to support her kid rather than work a real job.

Yeah, they're a great bunch this mother, father and the new stripper fiance. A-freakin-mazing to me that all of the children are not in foster care.

There was NO mental health issues when this happend - they were HIGH. Very high - both of the parents. And so far as I know the mother did drugs thru the pregnancy. This baby has a lot of problems now, health and deveopmental. The county needs to take away their parental rights and put this baby for adoption with a family that can handle the health issues it now has becuase of these pathetic parents.

While we're at it - why isn't the father charged with some sort of neglance for not calling 911 for at least 10 minutes?......... just curious if anyone knows........

If this woman just gave birth, maybe she wasn't thinking straight. Maybe we should give her the benefit of a doubt.
This rush to judgment all the time, this cruel hatred of the most vulnerable people. Punish, Punish, Punish. It's disgraceful.
The people who commented above are really mean. They don't know all the facts, just what the Morning Call is reporting here and who knows what really happened.

POST PARTEM DEPRESSION?????????? You MUST be kidding! One does not , one minute after having a baby, suddenly develop PPD and leave their child in the toilet.
This girl did NOT want this baby, should have kept her knees together in the first place and needs serious counseling to get her act together (also some jail time !). But none of this will happen, she'll be pg asap and who knows what will happen. Bet she makes news again someday...

She is one of the skinnest chics i know!! This girl needs jail time plus mental help!!!

First off most of you who have posted comments don't know waht really happened. First off the father was at work when she gave birth and came home to find her on the phone with 911, he took the baby out of the toilet right away. He loves kids, and to shed a bad light on him is not right. And unfortunatly she was not showing all she did was drink and do drugs while she was pregnant to hide the fact that she was. She cheated on the father and wanted to miscarry due to the fact that she did not know if it was his. As for the father and what his fiancee/wife he is quite happy. Unfortunatly they could not take the baby due to serious health problems, that they could not afford to take care of him. He requires 24 hr care. And his fiancee was a stripper before he met her. By the way she did it for a short period of time because the father of her son was an abusive deadbeat who didn't have a job and to this day can't keep a job. While looking for another job and desperate for money to pay for diapers and formula she worked at the strip club. She was there for about 4 months when she got another job. Also the club was only 1 or 2 nights a week just so she would have enough money to keep her son in clean diapers and not hungry. What she has to do with this I don't know, and I also don't know why anyone would drag her into this. And as for saying that both the father and his fiancee should not have kids is wrong, they both love kids and take care of her son he is happy and healthy. I know for a fact that he spent many nights crying over the fact that his first born child was in such poor health. So please people don't bring his fiancee/wife into this she was there for him through it all and had nothing to do with what happened. Just remember that it was the mother in this case that did wrong. Also as for the comment posted by a reader you must think you know these people but let me assure you that you don't. You have no idea what they have been through not only in this case but throughout their lives. Sometimes people have to do things they are not proud of but a true loving mother would do anything for her child, and I assure you that his fiancee/wife would do anything in the world for her children. So please do not state what you think you know as the truth but actually state the truth.
