How is my children going to get a good education, if more teacher are laid off? Today society talks about all the obesity there is among children. Now you are talking about cutting physical education? Where is the common sense in this. Find a way to pay for the budget, don't take away from our children.

It would help if we didn't have so many administrators. I know its a separate building, but do we really need a principal for 5th and 6th grades AND one for 7th and 8th? What about guidance? Two full-time counselors at DeFranco? If we ran our schools like a business, this would never fly.

As with any school district they need to cut out the fat. I'm sick of horrible teachers with tenure making big bucks and doing nothing.
