Looks like they are playing it smart. Just get to work, get a paycheck and survive.

this is not the time to want more more take a little here and there and consider having a job and getting a little a victory and keep on working unemployment is not fun.

Us workers haven't seen a wage increase in over 5 years. This company continues to take, take, take. They want the union employees to go backwards while the company goes forward and makes more millions. Give nothing to the workers but spend over $50 million to build a plant in Mexico. If you ever see that this company is hiring, stay away.

You got it Tom. Why is it ok for "union" workers at victaulic to say no to a contract and still look like "good hard working people" but if a teacher does that..."holy geez wwIII, thievery, etc". Both are trying to earn a decent fair living. Both pay exorbitant taxes, buy food buy gas, etc. Oh I know. Local taxes contribute to education. Sorry but in the end, when victaulic or any other business jumps in wages, etc, the trickle down effect occurs and you do pay. Either through product or service.

If they are building a plant in Mexico, I'd be prepared to lose your job. If you want a job, do what they say, if you don't, quit and move on.

I can't offer any sympathy to you people. I work for a truck body company in Morgantown, Pa. We have not had a wage increase in 6yrs.We have no more company picnics, Xmas parties,no uniforms,no more gift cards, only 2 sick days a year.We don't even have a janitor to clean our bathrooms! The air quality here is bad with sawdust, welding gas,tow motor propane, so we can't even breath properly. Comunication sucks. I'll bet you union workers make more anyway. So respectively, CRY ME A RIVER!!!! P.S. I used to be a member of the Teamsters and A.F.S.C.M.E.

the company offers the workers a raise of 3% but the health cost for a family goes up $30.00 a week, plus prescription cost for brand name goes up $15.00,and a doctor visits go up $15.00 good o'l john malloy wants his pockets deeper and the union worker to be a puppet my old union brothers are just trying to survive with their heads to be above water, they haven't had a "fair" contract since 1996.even though then we lost our $50.00 vacation bonus pay.before that in 1992 we lost our cost of living adjustment, every time contract time has come around the union faithfully gave back to have a job.i'm sure the company has alot of work lined up to be all of a sudden in a rush to get a contract signed,i know all of this i worked there for 21 years and got the boot, things worked out for me getting hired at a school district, all i have to say if you ever get offered a job at victaulic run like the wind when you make so much they'll kick your butt out the door i can go on with my experiences at this facility, but i just say to the company stop being so darn stubborn and just give in to a fair contract!!!
