This was a done deal before Randel was out. Just like the JH Bennet site on lehigh are the people that work there going to be future mental health consumers because of the clean-up that was never truely done properly.

It is sad to see the closing of Allentown State Hospital. I see the mentally Ill falling thru the cracks. Over crowding in the Jails and state prisons. Whats worse is high rise in deaths of the mentally Ill. Sorry that it closed over money, budget and more in welfares pockets. Money came before the patients and those who need Alletown State Hospital. State hospitals already are overcrowded. Nobody will get the kind of care Allentown State hospital gave.

Actually this wasn't Corbett's doing at all. This shutdown was proposed and signed off by Rendell prior to Corbett taking over. Get some facts then come back and see me.
