The article went on to say that the Congressional Budget Office believed “5.2 percent unemployment is the new standard for full employment.”

For more than two years, from December 2006 to February 2008, U.S. unemployment was even better than that – less than 5 percent. Twenty-seven straight months with joblessness averaging less than 4.7 percent. And much of that time, TV viewers were told the economy was doing poorly.

This is not the only ACORN member committing voter fraud. But this report conflicts with ACORN statements saying they must turn in all forms. But the Florida Secretary of State said groups such as ACORN do have discretion if they know something is fraudulent. If they see a voter named “Mickey Mouse,” they can toss it.

You get the picture. There are too many ACORN members, former and current, who are being investigated or charged in voter fraud cases for this to simply be a smear or attempt by anyone to deny rights to legitimate voters. Anyone interested in voting, with few exceptions, should be able to perform the task themselves. If not, family, friends or the local voter registration office can assist those wanting to be registered. Anyone who does not see the ACORN situation as a problem is not looking or is part of the problem and wanting to avoid prosecution.
With the list of Obama associates at the top of this post as well as the ACORN problem and a long list of questions about Barack Obama’s past this election is poised to perpetrate a fraud on this country if answers are not forthcoming and solutions are ignored or abandoned. Help keep the discussion alive and do not let those who choose to look the other way affect the quality of the process.

When Bush addressed the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday, the White House inadvertently showed exactly how -- with a phonetic pronunciation guide on the teleprompter to get him past troublesome names of countries and world leaders.

The White House was left scrambling to explain after a marked-up draft of Bush's speech popped up briefly on the U.N. Web site as he delivered his remarks, giving a rare glimpse of the special guidance he gets for major addresses.

It included phonetic spellings for French President Nicolas Sarkozy (sar-KO-zee), a friend, and Zimbabwe leader Robert Mugabe (moo-GAH-bee), a target of U.S. human rights criticism.

Pronunciations were also provided for Kyrgyzstan (KEYR-geez-stan), Mauritania (moor-EH-tain-ee-a) and the Zimbabwe capital Harare (hah-RAR-ray).

White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said the draft, labelled the 20th version and complete with typos and speechwriters' cellphone numbers, had been turned over in advance to help U.N. interpreters who must simultaneously translate leaders' speeches into several languages.

Bush's text also had to be loaded onto a teleprompter to appear on screens in front of the podium as he spoke.

"There was an error made," Perino told reporters. "I don't know how the draft of the speech that was not final was posted but it was and it was taken back."

However history decides to look on President Bush, he'll be remembered as the only president to have been confronted with an attack on the mainland United States. I don't even think in terms of him being vindicated or not. If history does credit him favorable for the way he handled the attack and the war, there will still be people who will disagree. Any woman who believes in her husband would say the same as Laura did.

I hope we never see another attack on the US while Obama is in office. He campaigned on getting the troops out of Iraq and ending the war within a year. That promise fell by the wayside fairly quickly and now he does nothing but dance around any support for the military. Obama doesn't have a clue about being a leader. Reagan and Bush would never leave soldiers out on a limb.
