Woman killed; suspect sought

Conover police say a 21-year-old Newton man is wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of his common-law wife early Sunday morning at a Conover laundromat.

everyone shouldnt be trying to talk about this case like its their business.. everyone's trying to make it look like fong is the bad one and lao is the good one. but if you think about it, if lao was really a good mother she wouldn't of left her two sons at 2am with another dude while fong is at work. if i was him, and i came home to find out that my two sons are home alone at 2am, i would be pissed off. i dont really care if he did that, to me, he is not that kind of person. he is so patient and so nice, i never would of thought that he was capable of hurting someone. everyone who knew him saw the good in him, if you ever needed anything from him, he would of gave it to you. she must of really pissed him off to make him do what he did. i'm really sorry that things turned out this way, and i'm hoping the best for him

just because you're dating him doesn't mean anything. it's hard for anyone who loves anybody to admit that what they did was wrong, but you know... it's not her fault... he could have just walked away from the relationship and let her live with whatever she did... i don't know the situation, but to take someone's life, someone's mother, daughter away from the is just heartless. so next time you hear this, dont assume anything youre not in their shoes the killer may be the nicest person ever, but you know what, the best thing that they could ever do is just to walk away and let the other person deal with what you might say cause the break up of the relationship my heart goes out to the family of lao and her children, i hope that they find her husband soon and lock him up for good their children wont ever be able to see their mother again, but their dad will at least be behind bars.

what gives you the right to say that about her? have you ever really looked at their marriage? lao is the best mother to those two kids! she always had the best intentions for them. it wasn't she that pissed him off...he pissed her off! stop talking like you know what happend.
