Dis anyone see the article in Sat paper? Richy told them that Zach is our man. When we put him on the mound we expect a win. I guess he doesn't have much faith in the other pitchers. I would expect a win with all my pitchers. Billy did a great job against them. He always does. Billys name wasn't even mentioned like always and hes the best all around pitcher they have.

Sounds like you armchair quarterbacks are too ridiculous to know the truth about the team: these are great boys who are also great friends! They support each other; everyone who supports the team knows and recognizes how accurate Billy's arm is and how strong Zach is and how committed the coaching staff is to every single player.
It sounds like you all have a hidden agenda, aren't really fans of baseball at all, and don't really know anything about Seymour baseball.
Too bad when Seymour is this good and has a deep pitching staff you choose to tear them down rather than encourage baseball! You are no fan at all, you are jealous and petty and choose to hide and slither in the dark: you really disgust me!

Seymour athletics have and will always be terrible. And yes, it is all about the poor coaching in each and every sport. Get real!

Another kid quit the baseball team. When are they going to get rid of Hinkle and Richie and get a real coach.

I'd be happy if they could even organize the O-fest 5K correctly. Not sure why checking and start wasn't ran as smoothly as years past, but the baseball crew were the ones running it this time.

I bet the Varsity doesn't win a game next year. If they do its because Richy will schedule a game with a no name school just to have a win. Just like last year they had a pre season tourney and invited no name schools just to say they won a tourney. Their coaching sucks and will always suckuntil changes are made. That's why they have all ready dropped some kids because there tired of the coaching and the fall training season hasn't even started. Look for another loosing year next year.

Mike, are you serious?

First of all I'll take your bet, they'll win some games.

Secondly you can't form a sentence and we're suppose to buy the fact that you are in a position to critique the coaching in SHS's Baseball program????

I'm sorry your kid got cut or doesn't get to play, but C'mon man!

Kevin I agree with you. Mike sure cant spell. But he does have a point and we all know what it is. The Seymour baseball coaching does suck. It will as long as the Hinkles are there. And I do agree they wont win a game next year.

Looks like seymour need to be recruiting some of Brownstowns talented coaches that coach all the way down to the young kids leagues over there; confident, knowledgable and professionalism is something I notice when I see Brownstown around at all star tournaments.

I know one thing Ive watched Seymours baseball for past 4 years. And I can say one thing, The coaching is horrible and very unprofessional. They need to get new coaches in there. My son will be a freshman next year and we will be car pooling with our neighbor and taking him to Brownstown. Their son and daughter goes there.

We plan to put our house up for sale and move somewhere in between. We both work in Seymour so gas would be expensive for 2 cars every day back to Seymour to work. We know our kids can get a ride back and fourth to Brownstown because our neighbors kids go there. Its a shame how many kids we loose here to other schools because of the coaching.

Wow, I thought high school was about an education. Stupid me.

It is about a education. But when your kids play sports why not choose the best school for them. In my opinion Brownstown is just as good as Seymour academically. But when it comes to sports and the coaching staff theirs no comparison and we all know this. Brownstown is by far on top. Their are a lot more kids going to other schools from Seymour than kids from other areas coming here.

Fair enough Lisa, since we're in agreement it's about the education, and Seymour and Brownstown are about the same, could you share with the group, how many AP and dual credit courses Seymour has vs. Brownstown? What about electives, do they have the same?

Brownstown has had some success on the athletic fields/courts the last few years. Seymour has new coaching staffs in BB (mens and womens) FB, for you to say that there's no comparison is a bit premature in my opinion. Are you clairvoyant? Do you have a crystal ball that you can see into the future?

I commend you for doing what you think is right for your kid. Stupid me, I never thought of sending my kids to play against watered down competition so I could feel better about myself. I wanted my kids to play the best competition that was out there. I wanted to see how they stacked up against the best. One things for certain, I never tripped over one of them as they were hanging onto my skirt.

What school do your kids go to? If that what her and her husband want to do then that's her choice. My kids don't go to Brownstown but its a good school. I agree 100% with her.

Mike my kids' high school days are behind them. I'm pretty sure I commended her for doing what she thought was best for her kids. Where did I say Brownstown wasn't a good school?

Since this thread is about "Richey's" Baseball program perhaps someone could tell us how many times Brownstown has beat Seymour in Baseball since Richey has been HC?
