My dad, who served in the South Pacific during WWII, is rolling over in his grave at the exaggerated bow Pres Obama gave the son of the ruler who authorized the attack on Pearl Harbor. Even the Japanese Emperor appeared embarrased. Obama should stand tall as did General MacArthur 64 years ago. America should bow to no nations or people, neither should Michelle touch the queen of England. Both seem to appear as uncultured buffoons. Akihito should be grateful that his father was allowed to live.

Can you imagine what the 1177 men entombed within the USS Arizona or 2350 overall killed @ Pearl Harbor would be thinking about now?

We need a president who can actually be a leader of this country and stand up for this country in the right way. This made me sick too. Just because Bush did this does not excuse Obama at all though. That's like a murderer pointing at another murderer and saying but he killed 12 I only killed 7. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Alright, a thread for those who live in the past. Japan of today is not the imperial Japan of yesterday. A bow is nothing more than a handshake and is expected in that country as a sign of courtesy. Not a big deal.

Let's see, I think that that is better manners than bush senior throwing up on the Japanese Prime Minister. Get over it people, that war's been over for 64 years. My father spend 3 years in Japanese Prisoner of War camps, he got over it. So can you.

Worry about the Chinese

While you people are worried about President Obama bowing to Emperor Hirohito and Michelle Obama touching Queen Elizabeth, you should be worried about THE RED CHINESE and how they have the United States by our short and painfuls. THAT'S what you should be worried about. President Obama can't even talk as he would like to in Red China (I refuse to call it People's Republic, because it is not- it is the Party's Republic) because the administration is afraid to antagonize the Red Chinese while they hold over 2 TRILLION in loans over our heads. Face it. The Red Chinese are in fact the masters of the USA while they control our purse strings. It's not pretty. It's not pleasant. But it's the truth.

His greeting was not appropriate according to the Japanese standards and was really embarrassing according to ours!
