I hope you aren't trotting out her marriage to Gregg Johnson as a "qualification", boys. Otherwise, it looks like business as usual.

Impressive reume? This wingnut has never held a real job. She'll be able to use the force of government to shove more BS down the taxpayers throats.

Yeah, totally unqualified. If she spent her days listening to the gospell of AM radio agenda givers and spreading the message on annonomous comment boards then this woman would "know" how to do this job.

Here we go again, a low income housing advocate. Haven't we learned from the foreclosure crisis that some people do not have the skills to own a house? I am not even talking repair skills, but rather basic things like cleaning and removing the trash.

I'm for eradicating the Met Council.

If Governor Dayton is all about jobs, jobs, jobs, why is he allowing Haigh to have two at the same time? The Met Council is more than Housing. Its a full time job. This appointment is also a major conflict of interest. Habitat is a housing opperation who solicits both public and private dollars to run its operation. Haigh should see the direct and potential conflict. How many vendors will feel obligated to donate to Habitat to curry favor with Haigh on transportation, housing, environmental or other issues they may be competing for businss on with the Council? I really don't care how upstanding she may be, the Governor is blind is he doesn"t see the conflict. It's not like Haigh needs the money given her Met Council and her husband the Judges salary. Or maybe she does given she fought for a 42% pay increase when she was on the County Bd. At any rate no one should have two jobs when both need full time attention. Haigh should step down from one job and give another unemployed Minnesotan a chance.

How about CANCEL the CC!!!

We cannot afford this waste!!!

A BILLION dollars to replace the bus service that riders say is better than ANY RAIL that can be constructed!!!

Hopefully she figures out how to get the Central Corridor Light Rail completed despite the "stars moving OUT of allignment."

Pawlenty SHOULD have had this done if he had even been in Minnesota the past 2 years. It met a Republican president's Cost Effectiveness Ratio which was the hurdle for evaluating whether transit projects like this are worthwhile or a boondoggle.

If we also get the Southwest Corridor Light Rail to Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, etc., we might actually start to catch up with the 20th Century and get people moving!
