Where is the rest of the story? Did the cat land on on it's feet? How far away was the wall? Was this a record for the Cat Throw? Where were the cat's parents, and why was the cat in foster? There are a myriad of questions around this occurance and once again the PP's team of crack reporters have been lax in it's coverage.
The cat was in rehab because it was a cat nip addict.

Hey.... it is a cat.... hardly news..
Big Bozo, jerks who abuse animals usually go on to abuse people. Furthermore, there are laws against it, and they need to be enforced, and such enforcement needs to be public, as all law enforcement should be. If it stops another yahoo, it helps. It probably won't; drunks do stupid stuff all the time. We have to try anyway.

I would never let one in my house.
That's good to know. Now all of the decent people won't let you in their houses, either.

What do you mean by duh? You can provide foster care for an animal but you are still not a parent.
What world are we living in? Foster Care? You are just watching a cat. It's not foster Care. Are you being paid by the state>

If you are the type to hurt an animal... you are the type to hurt another human being. This man is DANGEROUS. Can you say, Jeffrey Dahmer?

I don't get it. What is the purpose of local police officers arresting these criminals and releasing them without charging them. These guys will never be found when the time comes to charge them.
Police might as well save taxpayers some money by not arresting these guys if you won't charge them.
The same was done with the K-9 dog attack two weeks ago and the child rapist last week?
I am really getting sick and tired with law enforcement making arrests for "show" without pressing charges and my taxpayer money getting wasted.
In the meantime criminals continue to roam the streets and get more violent because we don't send a message. Look at the mother and two children killed on I-94 on Sunday morning. The guy was locked up a few days earlier and was released.
Please understand.....it is not "law enforcement" that gets to charge these losers - it's our pansy azz, nadless court system that doesn't charge them but, instead, gives them a hug and releases them so they can continue to re-offend. Rumor has it the cops get really tired of arresting the same losers over and over again...

I underatand that someone asked a group of the untouchable caste of India, who caught and ate rats, if they would like to have some cats. Even those who said no, agreed that it would be a welcome change of diet.

True, he got off with an insanity plea in that bird killing case, saying he was under the influence.

Wait a second here, foster parent? what, you mean owner right. foster parent, please get a grip..... I am not a parent to any pet, I own pets. No wonder third world countries hate us.
Animal rescues do not have enough room to hold all of the homeless cats and dogs...so they rely on people who will "foster" the cat or dog until they can find a forever home.

As far as third world people hating us? Big deal. I would rather live in a society where we try and take care of our pets...than in many third world countries that have no problem with neglect and cruelty.

It is a fantastic day if this is all the crime news for St. Paul. I guess we can all unlock our houses and leave the keys in the ignition now.

The case against Donahue is strong, so I doubt the police will drop the charges. Donahue has posts up on his Facebook page where he said that he was going to kill the cat. I applaud the St. Paul police for their quick response, and for enforcing our felony animal abuse laws.
