All Pro Window closed down Friday on Main Street.

Downtown Empty and in shambles.

4" deep holes in the concrete.

Dead and dying trees.

Tripping hazards on walks.

Massive cracking in the sidewalks, shoddy patchwork repair.

Gum spackled surfaces, Cigarette butts all over in front of Bars.

Holes drilled in side walks in front of Neumans so the can put signs in it.

Brick work shot and falling apart. Unpainted curbs, lines and crosswalks.

Plywood instead of concrete in front of Sundbergs with splinters and rot.

Mildew infested buildings.

Empty building sites with junk laying around.

Contaminated soil from various long gone gas stations.

BUT THE CITY HAS A:

NEW CITY HALL
NEW UTILITY BUILDING
NEW FIRE STATION
NEW PUBLIC WORKS FACILTY
NEW BUS GARAGE
NEW HIGH SCHOOL
NEW WALK BRIDGE
NEW BIKE TUNNEL
NEW TRUCKS, CARS, FURNITURE, COMPUTERS, AMENITIES
NEW LIBRARY
NEW FITNESS CENTER
NEW POLAR DEN FOR WAYWARD EMPLOYEES TO CHIT CHAT
NEW ASSISTANT TO THE MANAGER
NEW, NEW YUKON DENALI FOR THE CITY MANAGER
NEW WIND MILL
NEW EPA POSITION.

They keep building but no one comes...

People need to start going to city council meetings and asking questions! I think the state auditor should look into it's finances. The back dating of legal documents by the old city attorney and admin, the "UNAUDITED" section of the city financial report for 2009, the "personal expenses" of the city manager that were over budget by over $60,000 in 2009. The fiber optic loan they took out, the loans from Berwald roofing, the numerous properties Scott Duddeck owns. The city not bidding out contracts and giving them to family members.... what a waste of tax dollars.

I'd also like to hear what the city has to say at the next meeting about "looking into" officer Crittenden's wife's comments. Encourage everyone you know to attend the meetings and ask questions! Also send a complaint to the state auditor. On the state auditors website website under report a concern.

What about not taping meetings and censoring them?

Talked to a guy who moved out of NSP and asked him why they moved.

He said the cost of living in NSP is about $200 per month higher than Oakdale. He moved his family out and bought a new car with the savings.

Even if you loose money on the house the interest rates are so low that you can make a clean break and get into an area with less Section 8 housing, less houses being rented and foremost less crime associated with the government funded rifraf.

Shame on the City of North St Paul’s City Manager, Wally Wysopal, Police Chief Tom Lauth, and City Council. After Officer Crittenden’s wife spoke at the City Council meeting last night, Mayor Mike Kuehn and city council refused to let the public speak during open forum. Apparently, it's okay with them that Officer Rick Crittenden‘s, purple heart, and other awards of honor, were on the floor in the chief of police's closet for ten months following his death. Apparently, it’s okay that the Chief of Police bully a local business that supported her petition to let officers wear Rick‘s memorial pin. Shame on the city Chaplain Christ Langlett, when you said your prayer, you should have included Christine and her family. You’ve had breakfast with her and Rick, and last night as she sat in front of you, you prayed to keep Officer Burrell who's leaving for Afghanistan safe, but didn't say one word about Christine and her family that had lost a loved one. When you prayed for city council members and the city manager and asked for guidance in helping them make the right decisions, obviously “our father” wasn’t listening because the wrong decisions were made by the city council, mayor and the city manager. And most of all shame on the North St Paul Chief of Police for not having the courtesy to respond to anything in person. Don't you see ...it's not about just the pins.

I am sorry you are so into shame. Christ L has given years of service and hours and hours of his time to help people. Yes Christine should have been included and please know that people are praying for her. I am sure that he is also, even if he did not remember right at that moment.
