You know, I'm not usually a fan or Ruben's, his blindly liberal viewpoint is usually so biased as to be unreadable. In this case his subtle point is to expose the truth and I salute him.

He makes the point that the statistics are too small a sample to be meaningful, yet each is a terrible personal tragedy. The group is doing what it's formed to do, draw attention to it's cause, and Ruben give them their platform, yet he grounds the whole situation with the reality that we probably couldn't have done much more to prevent those deaths.

Throughout the article I kept waiting for the zinger, the appeal for money or dumping the blame on someone or some system.......but it wasn't there. My hat's off to Ruben for his message and his restraint.

I don't feel sorry for women who date men who kill them. Most of these cases involve a woman who chooses to maintain a relationship with a total loser with a criminal record.

Most of the recent Newspaper stories like this involve women who stay with men who have abused them in the past or domestic abuse on their criminal record.
