better yet just keep them as soon as they are potty trained---this social engineering thing will then prove itself to work or not work once and for all--i thought project head-start was to be the tool to save all the children?????????? if this new plan doesnt work just keep the newborns right in the school----- its all about power and the reason to tax

Miller said they are focusing on enrolling students of color, English-language
learners and low-income children first.

"It's not about their ethnicity, race or socioeconomic status" Olagbaju is
quoted saying.

Does anyone else see the 180 degree difference in those two statements?

does anyone ever question these programs---- the st paul schools have this program but guess what their non- graduation rate is higher now than ten years ago--- do any of these so called journalist ever do any thing more than just print what comes out of someones mouth-- i thought they were the truth seakers of the people-- these programs are nothing more than govt sponsered baby sitting services which the schools districts beg for grant money from the wealthy-- all for more social engineering--and by the way the article didnt mention that the district has a program to recruit more from somewhere else to try to help the decline in enrollment they forsee in the next 10 years to keep the funding coming into the school district-- the duping of America continues

Mr. Miller is a good and honest hard working man and is a good for the District. He has my utmost respect and that is HARD TO DO... I don't trust my own mother.

However, HOW IS IT FREE?

Federal Grant is my tax money
State Grant is my tax money
Any aid from any government is my tax money.

It would be free if private business or people donated the costs.

I think Miller is a she.

She has instituted some good initiatives, in fact so good are the programs there are union people striking the district every day of the year. They have been striking year around for a good 2 years, rain or shine.

IT'S NOT FREE. Real taxpayers are paying for this new form of welfare. You need to boot these idiots out of office. And PP should be ashamed of itself. The headline should read "Free loaders take advantage of dumb for life liberals social engineering project"

Hey goof ball-- These are UNION CABINET MAKERS that are picketing (called a banner) who lost out on work in all the updating in various schools to a company from Wisconsin who should have not been used because of sub standard wages and benefits. Get your gender and facts straight.

Has absolutely nothing to do with education.

Unfortunately a lot of what school districts do has nothing to do
with education.
