It's just too bad society and people can't just shut up and but out and let teens do what they want, it's our body and there's nothing wrong with them anyway like immoral or anything it's just nudity, and it's only sex no big deal cops and rents and schools on all need to shut up and sit down! We get to do what we can to do, so if we get in trouble for doing it in pictures we just go off and do it in real life! All prudes are just tragic.

Its not a matter of what these girls can do with thier own bodies. Its that when a young girl does this, she sexualizes all young girls. If someone sees her pic, the msg is that any 16 year old is fair game. Its a matter of society having rules and standards... and what an individual does affects OTHERS. So the girls were wrong. period. the end.

It's B/S - the UK gov kicked me out of care at 16 saying they no longer had a responsibility to take care of me in effect I was an adult even though I was no way mature... I had to get a job. You can join the army here at 15 and a half, have sex, work full time and used to be able to leave school - changed to 18 that now so hell surely you is an adult or ya not - I think if it's pics of you - not others should be different / allowed or at least not a criminal offense!

It's unfortunate what happened to this girl, and many others underage girls that have been charged with child porn for taking their own pictures.
Yes they are young, yes they are naive, yes its their own bodies, however it's not a matter of "let teens be teens and do what they want" but rather what the law states.
It is a criminal offense to take provocative pictures of underage youth and have them distributed no matter who is distributing it, and the punishment for such a crime does not discriminate, even if the offender took the picture of herself.
She and others will end up on sex offender registries for the rest of their lives and possibly end up in jail, but the punishment fits the CRIME, not the offender. It;s horrible for sure, but until they change the law, it will remain the same for other teens who commit similar acts.

I have a big problem with things like this, first of all ages were 16 in 19 and while that is under AOC (in most states) it's not like some middle-aged man took pictures of a 7yo or something and posted them. They don't belong on the Internet for the reason that anything posted never goes away, and later in life they might not appreciate it if they get discovered and get sent around to their coworkers etc. But this does not make them "child porn criminals" regardless what the law says. Kids that age art is hung up on nudity and sexuality as their parent's generation is. It's part of society's witch hunt mentality on this subject.
