Catholic Priest: Abortion is - Chemical Warfare' in U.S.CNS

Sep 16, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Cybercast News Service

President Barack Obama expressed outrage over the chemical weapons attack in Syria, which killed many children, but he and Secretary of State John Kerry are hypocritical because they support killing children by abortion in America, where chemically induced abortions - "chemical warfare" -- have been occurring as well for 40 years, said Rev.

No, it's not. It's her stating what we all know to be true. Of COURSE they're not going to say so. As I said, that would be self-defeating, and they know it.
Your deliberate obtuseness has gotten old. But I don't suppose you can help yourself.
Morgana spouts what you are happy to label a truism without any burden of proof, and I'm obtuse and/or disingenuous.

Okay.

Given your diminution of evidential standards for Morgana, would you accept the below from me without demanding substantiation?

"Planned Parenthood's primary goal is to keep abortion as restriction-free as possible so they can make the maximum revenue from their provision of that service. We all know that to be true, but of COURSE they're not going to say so. That would be self-defeating, and they know it."

Probably not.

FACT:

More catholic women in america have abortions than do protestant women.

http://www.beliefnet.com/Faiths/Catholic/2001...

Generally catholics do not follow their churches teachings on many issues.

MOST roman catholics use or have used forms of birth control the church says is sinful.

MOST catholics believe priests should be allowed to Marry.

Millions of roman catholics in america believe women should be allowed to be ordained priests.

MOST roman catholics do not attend mandatory sunday mass weekly. Currently about 25% do.

Millions of american catholics are divorced and have other partners and the church says this is sinful.

Its quite obvious the roman catholic church has very little control today over their flock and MOST roman catholics do not adhere to the churches teachings on many of its issues.

The roman catholic church has lost control.

It's her burden here to cite where the RCC seeks to outlaw contraceptives, as that's what she said.
All I got in response from her was truckloads of Catholic teaching, none of which contained a stated goal to outlaw contraception.
You can throw in with hyperbole if you want, but that's what it was.
dan, you can deny it all you want. Do me a favor though; show me the bills sponsored by democrats trying to ban certain forms of birth control and i will gather the list of republican bills trying to outlaw birth control.

Then we can compare the two and see who has more bills and who has the scricter bills. I have already provided a decent list of states trying to pass personhood bills which outlaws forms of birth control (amoung other things). Can you show me any democratic bills that are anything similar to those personhood bills?

Because it sure seems to me that you are waiting for the repubs to come out and say "we want to outlaw birth control". But that may be your problem as you are waiting for them to say it. I on the other hand judge them on their actions, not on their speach.

And their actions have been very clear; Anywhere you have a republican controlled state; ANYWHERE, they are pushing personhood bills. Why are they not trying personhood bills in states that still have dem's controlling either house/senate? Why is it ONLY republicans pushing these bills? Why is it they ONLY do it when they have a majority in the state?

Again dan, judge by actions, not words.

I don't care what political party sponsors any bills.

I never mentioned it. Only you have.

Catholic preists are not allowed to make comments on abortion, if they are also against birth control.

They are above shame, and women are low on the totem pole in the male hierarchy of the RCC.

1. Why would I have to "dance around" the teachings of the Catholic Church? I already know what they are.
2. You and Morgana claim a great deal of 'freedom' considering that you both appear (you not as much as Morgana, but to some degree) to be tied to some compulsion to justify yourselves to people you don't agree with. Let it go.
1. You dance around the teachings of the Catholic Church all the time, as far as I'M concerned, Dan. You just refuse to admit it.

2. We have the freedom to make our OWN sexual and reproductive decisions instead of allowing a bunch of nosy male clerics in dresses to make those decisions FOR us. Is THAT what you object to? My guess; it probably is.
