Skylynn's mom has a medical conition that causes her to have seizures. According to the Cumberland Hill Fire Department, Skylynn has called 9-1-1 at least five times over the past year when her mom has expereinced a siezure.

Tuesday, she's getting a "Young Hero" award, and is credited for helping to save her mom's life. Skylynn says she doesn't feel like she's a hero just because she was helping her mom.
