As Brigham Young declared in 1863, "if the white man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain, the penalty, under the law of God, is death on the spot." Young added: "This will always be so."
In a 1954 lecture at BYU, arguing against desegregation, Elder Mark E. Peterson said: "the Negro is not just seeking the opportunity of sitting down in a café where white people sit. He isn't just trying to ride on the same streetcar or the same Pullman car with white people. He will not be satisfied until he achieves [absorption] by intermarriage. That is his objective and we must face it. We must not intermarry with the Negro."
In 1863, if a black man was caught sleeping with a white woman the black man was usually killed by good Christian people and the woman usually received the beating of her life if not also killed and or chased from town. And you find offense with Young's statement when the good Christian folk of America had been doing what he described since the 17th century? Nit picking again aren't you.
In 1954 blacks were as much offended about intermarriage as whites were. You think this was just a white people thing? Good Christian America in 1954 was against intermarriage and had been against intermarriage since this country was founded. And you nit pick to find offense with Mormons when Your Christian America had been carrying on their own similar prejudices since the early 17th century? Getting desperate aren't you?

Pathetic indeed that you'll make a statement and when challenged you run instead of responding...pathetic indeed but why am I not surprised...

Don't pretend to be an idiot of what your claim was. It's a foolish move seriously.
You just complained bitterly how bad and evil temple marriages are because, people not worthy to enter the temple can't come to that civil ceremony and it causes family heart break and anger and resentment etc.
So the real essence of your complaint is you are against any couple getting married who marry in a manner whereby some or more family members cannot attend the civil ceremony. That is your complaint.
So there is no difference if a couple excludes family from a temple marriage or if they exclude family because they elope so family can't purposely attend.
It's the same fricking thing being done in or out of a temple clown. You can't separate the two through rational reasoning. Talk about self brain washed rhetoric...lol.

See how complicated YOUR CHURCH has made it when it's really very, very simple? We (man) are created in His (God's) image possessing three distinct aspects to our ONE person (body, soul and spirit)- Wah-lah! JUST like our Maker! God (Father), God (Son) and God (Holy Spirit)- three aspects to ONE God. He is still ONE - not three seperate gods as your church teaches. NOR, will you be a god one day over your own planet. That is made-up junk by your so-called prophets who are so full of themselves that they cannot handle being just a man albiet created in God's image, but NEVER a god ourselves. Anyway, the Christian God of the Bible is the Trinity - the Great Mystery - ONE GOD - and what Mormons deny.
lol...you have joined many in making the trinity a mystery because you can't plausibly explain it. Their is no way to explain the trinity. Their is no way to explain why a single god you worship decided to become the first multiple personality disorder.
You can't explain why your god thinks another part of itself is more powerful than the other two parts, you can't explain why one part cried out in prayer to the other part, you can't explain how your god has a father son relationship with itself.
You can't explain anything about your god so you lump it all up to being one big mystery.
Well the demons believe in a single god with no personality disorder so apparently they understand your god better than you do.

An good example is that even a man can be three things at the same time. He can be a son to a mother, a husband to his wife, and a father to his children.
He is 3 in 1. Different aspects, all
That was one of your most fricking pathetic lying responses you have ginen for a while. And what does it profit you?
Was your dad his own son and father? Did the son part talk to the father part and vice-versa? Did the husband speak to the son part and the father part? Who claimed more power in your dad's 3 aspects? The husband or the Father? Did your dad pray to himself? Did he answer his own prayers to himself? Did your did teach you you had a dad and husband aspect inside your mind? Did he teach you how to pray to the husband or father part? Did your dad teach you which aspect of your self had more power than the other two???

One of my co workers told me yesterday how awful some of her "friends" try to make her feel about not being married in the temple. They think they are superior and don't miss a chance to rub it in. I suggested she change wards but evidently that's not as simple as just it sounds.
You should tell your friend a Topix poster suggested to you to tell her she should chat up how good her non-temple wedding went if she was married, and how she'd never wed any other way when these co-workers begin to chat about their temple marriage, just saying :)

Changing wards is almost impossible I once found out, because I wanted to do the same. You need permission from the Stake President to "officially" do so. If you do it without permission, your attendance won't be counted at the different ward, and you won't be able to get your temple recommend. If the church allowed free changing of wards, people would flock to the more popular Bishops, or chose a ward with meeting times they rather want.(Some ward buildings have up to 3 wards in them and rotate meeting times every year). There is nothing worst than being stuck with a horrible Bishop.
So much for "free agency".
Almost impossible? Hardly! lol...(unless your child at home)as an adult you get a copy of the ward boundaries and you move into the boundary area of the ward you want to attend. Done and over. I saw people in my kids ward do it quite often. Some because of a different job, some because they wanted to live in a new neighbourhood.
Moving just to be in the ward of a favoured bishop is a fools move as a bishop position lasts 2 to 4 years on average.

Your 'friend' didn't ask a question. Your friend was making an accusation to those listening telling them in his opinion they should be supporting Mormon women to skip the dress and wear blue jeans, capri's or whatever are deamed as 'pants'. He was insinuating in his view those he spoke to should all be supporting wear pants day or else he'd think worse of them than he already thought of them. He was telling that small group how he thought they should feel about the matter.
Your friend should have been showed some real disrespect for the disrespect he was showing beyond being arrested.

Again, to Mormons, Jesus lied:
Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Matthew 11:20-24 Then he began to denounce the cities where most of his mighty works had been done, because they did not repent.“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I tell you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you. And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will be brought down to Hades. For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I tell you that it will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom than for you.”
2 Peter 2:4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment;
One of Satan's greatest lie is that there is no hell and can make you believe it, even make it appear holy.
Now, you know that's not true. I'd hate to call you a liar for stating Mormon's don't believe in hell. You were a Mormon. You should know they believe in hell and you should know the Bible and Mormons use different names for hell.

Mormons have told me that they’ve been told to be ready to move to Salt Lake City.
So, because their leaders were smart enough to prepare for the coming disaster, their people will survive.
Big deal. Because their leaders have deceived them so well, they won’t survive Hell.

Black or White, the teaching was wrong, racism is wrong, discrimination is wrong. it doesn't matter what the majority of the people think, it is wrong. Rather if it is White Christians, Black Christian, Mormons, or any other group you want to use to justify it, it is wrong.
