Bedford OKs contract for red-light cameras

There are 3 comments on the A liberal dose story from Jul 25, 2007, titled Bedford OKs contract for red-light cameras. In it, A liberal dose reports that:

Bedford is set to become the fourth Tarrant County city to install red-light cameras.

The cameras will take images of vehicles that run red lights, and Redflex Traffic Systems will send a bill for $75 to the vehicle's owner. On Tuesday, the City Council approved a contract with Redflex to operate the cameras. The city joins Arlington, North Richland Hills and Richland Hills.

Citations could be issued as early as fall, after installation, testing and grace periods, Chief David Flory said. 'We just can't put enough police officers to watch intersections 24/7 like a camera can,' he said. Read more

Maybe this will free the cops up from having to hand out people running red lights and you will be able to concentrate MORE on all the crime we have been having for two years!

John, you must feel good about yourself hiding behind your keyboard in your mommy's basement (or back room.)

As I said before, you're as insignificant as a chiuauah snapping at the heels of every big dog on the Forum.

If you spoke to people like this in the "real world" and not behind some "nic" on line, you wouldn't last the week.

You'd get snuffed out faster than you can push your customer's buggies at the Wal-Mart parking lot.

But I know you - you're the type who'd p!ss on keeps quiet and bites his lip too afraid of his own shadow to mouth off to anyone in public - especially, the Low Life's that you detest so much. Because you know that you wouldn't make it out alive.

Why don't you all do us a favor and drive down Martin Luther area with a KKK hood, or a Rebel Flag and see how long you'd last.

If i were ever to get one of these 'tickets', rest assured it would never get paid and cost the city thousands, maybe tens of thousands in court.
