Please pray for the family of Gabriel Diaz, Jr. This death stems down to all family in and out of town. Our family is grieving right now. Our prayer includes a swift and just sentence for the alleged murderer. He left behind many a loving and caring family members. He brought happiness to all who were a part of his life. It is his life we celebrate....not his death.

Before you state or feel Gary is guilty or not guilty I think it's best to view ALL the evidence then post your comments. Obviously there is enough evidence for the police to make an arrest and investigate further but I belive everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. My prayers are for the victim, the victims family, Gary, Gary's whole family, and the investigators. This has to be a difficult time for everyone. I trust the police will do a full investigation and the truth will come out. May God be with everyone involved.

i knew gary for a little while he was a outgoing people person. i see someone mentioned he beat his girl here. theres quite a bit of length between hitting a woman and a brutally killing someone. however anyone is capable of anything. i pray for him either way and dont wish him harm in either case. i hope all goes well for haga

The evidence is really strong against Gary-
Yes huge difference between brutal abuse and murder-However his x-girlfriend was pregnant at the time of the beating she is lucky he did not kill her or the baby -
The entire thing is tragic and sad because now lives are ruined because of 1 mans actions.
What about the harm of the victims -
If your family was in the middle of this and someone you loved was murdered I am sure you would change your position on what harm comes his
way...It is hard to believe anyone can do this...As humans this is hard to comprehend.
Sympathy should go towards the victims.

Whoever posted this is a terrible person. One man's action?? Has gary been proven guilty?? Already, wow, I must have missed that. Think of if my family was in the middle of this?? IT IS. My family, Gary Haga, is in jail for something he would never, ever do and you have the audacity to tell people to think? What harm comes his way? Hopefully no harm comes his way, he is my loved one. Keep your dumb comments to yourself please, we're trying to get through this and i'm praying that Gary gets through this too. And my heart does go out to the victim's family as well, but let's please wait for ALL the facts before we start blaming people for their pain.

I too know Gary, he has been in my home, he has sat down for meals at my table. I have watched him with his son and his girlfriend. But the facts are, he did attack his girlfriend one day prior to this murder. There is a police record, take a look. She is 5 months pregnant and has documented evidence that this attack occurred, plus evidence at the home where it occurred, this too is not the Gary I know either. Anyone can do things that don't seem normal. Just read the reports, listen to Detective Shelly, look at the bond. There is a huge amount of evidence against him and the sad fact is his 2 children will be left to deal with this.
I pray for the victims family, no one deserves to die much less in this awful manner.

He is guilty! He has beat his girlfriend multiple times, the day before the murder even. I know him and liked him, but I have seen him out in bars, etc. going out of his way to spark up a conflict or fight. And YES beating your GF is quite aways away from a brutal murder, but it IS a gateway to doing so! He is guilty...if he was not he would cooperate with authorites, blood was found everywhere....HE did it. Facts are facts. NO he has not been proven or convicted guilty YET. But soon he will face the music for what he did to this poor man. I am sure he will get a dose of his own medicine in prison.

In his interview with police, Haga told investigators that he met up with Diaz at a bar Sunday night, according to the affidavits. He told police he left the bar to go to Diaz’s apartment because the 49-year-old man had invited him over, the affidavits state.
Haga stated he stayed at Diaz’s for about five minutes and left after having a beer, according to the affidavits.
When questioned further, Haga asked for an attorney, the affidavits state.(If he had NOTHING to do with this, he would gladly do all he could to talk and help them find the truth of what happened to a man that helped raise him!)
A medical examiner investigator told police that Diaz’s attacker would have blood evidence on their clothing, according to the affidavits.

Armed with search warrants on Tuesday, investigators found a small piece of flesh on the driver’s side mirror of Haga’s white 1998 Ford Explorer.(What a coensidence!)
Blood also was detected on the driver’s side floor board of the truck and in the bathtub in Haga’s North Richland Hills apartment, the affidavits state.

i absolutely feel for his children . what i mean by no harm coming to him is I do not wish harm upon anyone,and everyones wrong doings are judged by the one n only n him only. my job is to pray for the victim n for whomever did commit this crime. to pray for gary wether or not he is guilty. i am hoping for not. but i am not going to start casting stones ,if he is innocent it wont be the first time someone has been wrongfully accused. if he is guilty i would b shockd #1 and disappointed 2nd and would forever continue to pray for him and his mental spiritual and physical health.

gary and the girl friend were both involved with drugs i do believe this could upon occasion make some loose their temper in being physically agreesive. she also provoked being pregnant has nothing to do with bad behavier on her part either. but iwould like to here gary voice on the account of what happened before we judge. but if he is not talking who is. i cant believe no one at the apartment heard anything. what else can the police say.

Its clear that the evidence is there and from what it looks like the suspect gary haga is guilty its just a matter of time. What could have caused gary to do a horrible thing to gabriel diaz i dont understand how people are ok ay one minute and then they turn on u. U just cant trust anyone
