Travis was my cousins son. I went to see her today and she is in terrible shape. Of course no one can see the body, but her mind lets her imagine so many things. She lost her first born years ago, and now she has lost her baby. Any information you might have would be helpful. I can imagine what you witnessed and my heart goes out to you also. HE Has a 6 yr old and a 3 yr old and a wife who at this time can barely function. OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALSO...

I and my son send our heart felt sympathy to the family. We live just across the tracks, like our backyard. My son rides motorcycle and he says he passed the street and could feel sadness and I as a mother feel the same as when I pass by. Bless your family.

Travis is my cousins son in law. I was speaking to my cousin's mother last night and was telling her about this posting. She said if any of you saw the accident or have not already spoken to the police please call them if you can shed any light on what might have happened.

I don't know why there would be any trouble identifying him. The head injury was mostly at the back. There was a cut on his knee and his face seemed fine except for what appeared to be a chipped tooth and a trickle of blood at the corner of his mouth. Of course that was before they left him laying there for almost 4 hours!

I only saw the aftermath...I know they said the wreck happened at 12:40, and I drove by at around 3:30. the body was still there, covered by a sheet. It breaks my heart that he has a wife, children and a mother that are in so much pain. May you all find peace soon.

I drove past this accident at 5pm. I am outraged that this poor young man lost his life at 12:45pm and was still lying in the road covered with a white sheet with his feet sticking out. I am heartbroken for his wife, his children, his mother and the rest of his family. I cannot get this out of my mind. Shame on the ones who allowed him to lay there for that length of time.

I drove by about 1:30 pm. I saw the white sheet covering the body. I could see his feet sticking out,and the police looking at the tires of the Fed Ex truck.I could only wonder how this tradgedy could have happened. I wish to give my condolences. And pray even more so for that day when we see this prophecy come true, "And he will wipe out every tear from thier eye's and death will be no more the former things have passed away" Rev.21:4

Travis was one of my sisters new husbands best friends! He was also the best man at their wedding on July 4,2009 at the Azle Gardens! We are all very sad for his family and friends. My husband Hans and I just recently met Travis when we were in Weatherford for my sisters wedding! You didn't have to know him for a long time to realize what a great man he was. I pray for his family to someday have peace within their hearts.

What would the city's outrage be if that had been a public servants body laying there for that long with feet sticking out? First thing is it would be on the news every night for 5 nights straight. Then you would hear about how you can send donations to the family. The people responsible for the cruelty done to this person would be disciplined. FUBAR situation people!!
