I am sorry, the Sellietos need to grow up. If they want a farm, they need to take care of it. Their behavior is absolutely infantile and well...they are acting like WHITE TRASH. Shame on the people of Wilmington for allowing this to continue for as long as it has.

The Lingenfelter's need to leave the Sellitto family alone. He has been harrassing them for years for any and every reason he can conjur up. Please note that Felice and Anna Sellitto are a sweet, elderly couple and just want to live in peace and be left alone. This harrassment has gone on long enough. If anyone researched the Lingenfelter's, they would see that George is not a rational person. I question his mental state once I became aware of the lengths he will go to to harrass this family....they have done nothing to him.

[This is an elderly couple that you are saying needs to "grow up." Perhaps you are the one that needs to grow up here. They do not have a farm. They have chickens and rabbits that are very well taken care of on their property. White trash? You're calling an elderly couple from Italy white trash? George is white trash. So is his wife. He married a mail order bride from Russia. He's a disgusting disgrace and his behavior is appauling.]

Mail order bride? Oh man, you can't make this stuff up. Nothing smacks of desparation more than picking your soulmate from a catalog.

The town should come out today and have them take the fence down. At first I was going to say Lingenfelter was a jerk, but it seems this other couple are royal pita's. I wouldn't want chickens on my property, they attract other animals, the rooster was illegal. And why is an elderly couple raising live stock. This isn't farm land, this is a neighborhood.

Is Concord Street considered rurally zoned? This story is one for the birds. Mr. Lingenfelter if you want a relationship with birds then join the Audubon society.

What's about that picture of Mr. Lingenfelder? Looks like he's the model for Peter Griffin on "Family Guy." Judging by his antics, if he isn't, he should be synicated on Wilmington cable tv.

Leave Mr L's mail order bride alone.

When he decided to go after an elderly man in the Lowell SUN today just because the guy's son-in-law is running for State Representative, Mr. L does not deserve to have the public discuss the wife and kid he brough over from Russia.

Just because in 25 years he couldn't find someone from Wilmington to be a soul mate doesn't make him a bad guy for turning to "Craig's List -- Stalingrad" to raise a couple of future "free range" Republicans in a "chicken free" Wilmington?

Oh, just in, the L family has a permit to raise chickens too? Does The SUN know? Or does he keep them where the Sun doesn't shine?

Enquiring minds want to know ....

The foxes and wolves are in the neighborhood not just because of the chickens and rabbits, but because of cats and birds as well as people tolerating those predators.

Something tells me that the alleged "pitchfork" menacing is baloney, that Sellito probably had a pitchfork but did not menace anyone with it. I own a few pitchforks and they are not my weapon of choice were I to menace someone.

Would Ligenfelter have taken a wild turkey carcass killed by a coyote to the public health board and dumped it on the inspectors desk if the Sellitos were not raising chickens? Ligenfelter sounds like a drama queen to me.

The bottle of mouthwash with the mysterious liquid also sounds odd. Ligenfelter is the one who found it and he seems to apply a ready-made "Godfather" meaning to it. In my past experiences with situations of this sort, I have noticed that the person who makes the most noise often makes up some of the complaints.

If Ligenfelter is concerned about his 8-month old son's safety, he must make certain that he and his wife never let the child out of their sight and are prepared to fend off a coyote or a fox--or for that matter a dog. Even if the Sellitos got rid of their chickens, rabbits, and geese, the toddler Ligenfelter would still be at risk to coyotes, foxes, and dogs.

The story does not say what began the bad relations 25 years ago. I suspect Ligenfelter wants to live out in the country but do not want anyone near him to raise anything but plants.

And I have to object to Ligenfelter's applying a "Godfather" label to the Sellitos. That is an ethnic slur. I am certain Ligenfelter would not want to be labelled a Hun or tarred with any of the WWI or WWII labels applied to people of Germanic extraction.
