I grew up in Wilmington - moved out in the late 70's. I have visited from time to time. The population has grown too much and traffic is horendous at rush hour, especially on Route 38. I agree the home prices are pretty good considering it's a short commute to Boston. I wonder if cleaned up the drinking water problem.

Congrats to Wilmington! Hope people here in Billerica understand that even though we are clearly more affordable, Wilmington has lower crime, higher per capita income, smaller population, and business friendly.

So we all agree Wilmington is the best town in the Valley.

- You can buy beer on Sundays
- Good looking residents
- French immigration is way down
- Wilmington has the finest cuisine
- Plenty of industrial parks for underage drinking
- Residents are always a head of the fashion curve
- Wilmington students are considered over achievers when compared to their dumber neighbors who live in Tewksbury
- Birth place of the Baldwin Apple
- The best damn Marching Band in the MV
- No recorded shark attacks
- Town Hall is a circle shaped building
- Wilmington's wetlands smell better then yours
- Cancer Clusters haven't been a problem in the last 15-20 years
- None of Wilmington's borders touch Lowell

I grew up in Wilmington and recently had the pleasure of visiting it again after moving to FLA. I love what they've done to the Rte. 38 area.

Let's not forget about the mid to late 30's crowd that refuses to grow up and still drink and party with each other every week.

Wilmington has also done a good job of cleaning out the garbage in local government over the past three or four years. It has lead to efficient fiscal management, competent leadership and a high sense of decorum and professionalism.

Yeah, now the Consigliere and his Capo's have everything under control again. It was scary there for 3 or 4 years when it looked like we might be losing control.

No, but we did manage to get the polluter's (Olin) attorney to be put in charge of the state DEP. So it's taken care of.

Another good selling point about Wilmington is the interesting cross section of individuals that thoroughly entertain the residents by running unsuccessfully for Selectman. A ecclectic and diverse mix of offbeat, unusual malcontents with varying degrees of mental impairment.

Wilmington is filled with a bunch of low life's who think they live in the center of the universe. They grew up in Wilmington, went school in Wilmington, they work in Wilmington and still live in Wilmington. Its time to meet some new people you losers.
