It's always been about the money.
If money can fix it, it's not the climate that is broken.

Ah but money can fix the broken climate. They line their pockets with our money and call it global warming.

We can't cough up a paltry $30 billion to save trillions in damages, as well as millions of lives?
$30 billion is less than the cost of Superstorm Sandy in New York alone.

Northie, you go ahead and give them your money for their made up problem.
Here in my area we have real problems to spend our money on. We have children sleeping in the backseat of their cars coming to school cold and hungry having not had anything to eat since lunch yesterday.
As a nation we have cold and hungry people on our east coast who through no fault of their own, don't have a place to live.
We have 23 million people who do not have jobs. More people unemployed than at any other time in the last 30 years.
We have a $16.2 trillion dollar debt.
So Northie, you go ahead and send money to fix a problem we may never see.
I will oppose all such spending until we take care of the problems we have right here, right now.

Of course,'fun farts' never mentions the systems that developed & allowed upper crust 'paper pushers' & 'people shovers' to individually raid business coffers of $100 million stock, retirement & bonus packages. AND when those packages weren't enough, hedge fund schemes were cooked up, which caused individuals to inflate their stealings past billions of dollars. At the base of these 'unmentionables','fun farts' lay no blame.

I somehow doubt that the homeless, the unemployed, the underpaid and the national debt were ever major concerns of conservative fanatics, but that doesn't change the fact that climate damage will cost far more than any problem we now face, unless we prevent it from growing vastly worse.
As for this being "a problem we may never see", we've already seen it. However, none are so blind as those who will not see.

And the ones that act like sheeplebots. Try some of your own material. The cut and paste thing makes you look silly.

You and I see our world differenyly. I think you and I have the same goals but different methods of achieving those goals.
You appear to think anyone with a different idea from yourself is evil.
People who think differently from you are not evil. Conservatives are not evil and are concerned with the disadvantaged and the national debt. We just subscribe to the 'give a man a fishing pole' side of the analogy more than the 'give a man a fish'.

Everyone thinks differently. Why not give the man and a fishing pole, bait and if he does not succeed catching one give him a fish.
