Judge bans evidence in N. Providence DUI case
The case may have collapsed against a North Providence councilman accused of drunken driving after a District Court judge Thursday afternoon granted the defense motion to suppress evidence collected when North Providence police stopped then-Councilman-elect Joseph J. Giammarco's car.
