WTF about that, and months before that I saw and officer at Publix give an old lady a ticket for running out to use the Presto Cash Machine, and she had her husband waiting in the car. Your right Slugger, They should not park in the no parking areas because those are reserved for emergency vehicles only. How dumb they are to think their Police cars with the lights and sirens are emergency vehicles. I can't wait to see a dumb cop in line to get some lunch and the call comes across the radio that your family is being attacked and he has to waste time going half way across the parking lot to get to his car so he can respond to save your sorry family. Cause since he can't be near his car, I'll be done with your family before he gets there. Yeah man, would'nt that be great.....

There is another side to this story. Due to police enforcing speed limits, how many accidents have been avoided? Police presense in neighborhoods have limited how many buglaries? Retorical questions as there is no data that can prove this is true or not. But common sense leads one to believe it is true Also true that the police are human and can make mistakes.

When critising the police or anyone, please look at the entire picture; the good and the bad. Then make a resonable editorial comment.

BUGLARIES?! Give me a break, they have not been reduced!? There have been three break-ins just on my street alone. The North Port police have not been able to do anything about any of the break-ins. How can evidence such as blood and fingerprints not get an investigation?

As I said in other posts, I rarely ever see NPPD in my neighborhood, and we had a streak of 3 break ins w/i a week.(2007) Where were they? C'mon!

You bitch if the cops are in your neighborhood, you bitch if there on the main roads, you bitch if they park close to a buisness, you bitch if they pull people over, and you bitch if they don't. What the hell do you want them to do. If they stop someone and ask what they are doing, You complain. But if that same guy, breaks into a house then you say the cops do nothing. Come on. Make up your mind. Let's face it, your just a pain in the ass. All you want to do is complain about the police. It's like you expect them to stop crime before it happens but don't question anyone about what there doing or save life's, but dont make traffic stops. Your a joke!!!
