Human children and cars are pretty much a necessity. I think you really need to read the first paragraph with the sarcasm it was meant with and make sure you pick up with the second...cause the second is the truth.. How are children and cars a necessity...I, as well as all others, can live without both...and both are choices not necessities...the only necessities are air, food, and water...I didnt realize that cars and children fell under one of those catagories.

First.... I don't like agressive scary dogs.
Any breed.
but I REALLY don't like dogs that have a very strong reputation for
biting,
ripping your flesh off
killing things
or leaving you physically disfigured for life.
I know some pit owners who love their pet like a child and covet them more than a neighbors spouse.
I have no symphathy for mean animals.
We used to have a horse that was just plain mean.
Would bite or kick you just because you were near.
When the animal became ill, I was not against not treating it.(We did!!!!)
Bad bad animals, bad bad people, put them down down.

Sorry, I thought that maybe, at some point in your life, you were a child? Thanks for clarifying that "you" are not a necessity. Also, if you re-read what I said above, I said "pretty much". I form sentences like that sometimes for a reason.

IF they allow one breed to be banned then they WILL move onto the next and the next and the next till they get down to little fluffy and guess what IF they try to ban pits then I will go all out to make dang sure that little fluffy makes the list at some point. My pit is a total house dog and everyone is pretty safe so long as you are not a robber and trying to take her day bed, then I think for her it would be all on at that point......any dog can be nasty and mean the BREED does not make it so.

Hey, does anyone remember in the late 60-70's when afghan dogs were very popular? A lot of people had them, and a lot of these dogs turned out to bite the hands that fed and brushed them. A friend of mine had one, and she raised it with lots of love, but one day it just turned and bite her hand so badly, she was hospitalized. The vet said that he could find no reason for the dog to turn like that, so she ended up muzzling it most of the time. Point is that any and all dogs can be dangerous. Cats, too, but heck, you can trip and break your neck getting out of bed. Life is dangerous. If you want to be totally safe, then, stay in bed, never leave your house, and don't live.

Good point, but beds are unsafe to, bed bugs, or maybe a tornado or wildfire. Oh if you stay in bed you health will decline and you will probably die. Darn, I guess we are all going to die of something.

Your #60 post, which am referring too, is illogical. Your logic is flawed in reference to the Pit Bull discussion. You also have a problem with reading comprehension. BTW...the last time I heard your sandwich and picnic joke, I rolled over in my crib and took a big poop.

People are just retarded and think that by banning pits it will solve all the dog issues in the world... heck, people bite people... SHOULD WE KILL THEM TOO?!?!

Below is a partial list of countries and cities/counties in the United States that have banned or have current “proposed” legislation to ban Pit Bulls. Each listed has their own laws and regulations that vary from area to area. However, all listed impact Pit Bulls and some include other selected breeds as well. This is info I gathered off the net. I have no reason to doubt this is basically correct. If you want to pick at it…knock yourself out.
The United States pit bull banned cities:
Delta, Utah Independence, Missouri Overland Park, Kansas Springville, Utah Miami-Dade County, Florida Council Bluffs, Iowa Royal City, Washington Denver, Colorado Prince George’s County, Maryland Yonkers, NY Springfield, Missouri Enumclaw, Washington Garfield Heights, Ohio Sparta, Tenn. Melvindale, Michigan
Countries:
Ontario and Winnipeg, Canada Australia France Norway United Kingdom Denmark New Zealand The Netherlands
Currently proposed in US:
Oklahoma Shelbyville, Tenn. New York City, NY Aurora, Colorado Youngstown, Ohio Richland, Washington Tupelo, Miss. Parker, Colorado Chicago, Ill. Anderson City, SC
