I'm sorry folks but William S is correct same thing happened to me. Got a call that my resume had been seen by a partner of this agency, next-opp, and he was interested, caller number was blocked. I am in NJ. Timing is everything, company downsizing, I feel vulnerable, they call and pump me up, "hey I'm worth something" , I feel better. Did not give me a good answer on how they got my resume but wanted me to send it in before my meeting, should have asked but I didn't "if you have my resume why do I need to send it". Met last week in Princeton office, asked me my age, first sign, very inappropriate to me but I am a rookie in the job search thing. Yes they want $ up front, that doesn't bother me much but my question is what will you do for me? Think I have my answer here. Thanks folks, saved me money, time and aggravation. JZ

What about JMW? I just got a call from them and started to get a song and dance about relocation and if I owned a house before we even talked about the opportunity. I asked what difference did it make and the guy called me an "a--hole" and hung up.

What kind of recruiting company does that?

Thank you for sharing this! I've been looking for different executive search firms, but don't have a lot of insights on it. I found this and www.n2growth.com very helpful. If anyone else has anymore places I could look at, that would be great!
