Funny how the news spends days on that poor street implying this woman did something wrong.......reporting stories that imply to the community she did something wrong, completely OUT her before the police even officially finish an investigation- Than the news disappears with NOT ONE FOLLOW UP REPORT to confirm their original stories claims. Looks like this lady ended up being innocent of the thigns she was accused of considering no charges were filed..... where is the news now to retract their accusations and where is the news now to bring closure to this news story and report. NOWHERE. All they did was start a witch hunt, and they should be held responsible and sued for making this womans name dirty in her community. These reporters have zero accountability. If you want to write about someone possibly murdering a child and report that shands is saying the injuries are inconsistant to a claim- implying the woman is guilty of something, and lied about how the kid died, they should be required to report a follow up story to let the people in the community know if she actually was guilty or not of those accusations. I am completely disgusted with ALL of the news stations in the are, and so are many other residents who are aware of this story. No one knows what happened to this kid, all we know is what the news reported before the police even had a say in it. Is this even legal? It should not be, its misleading, and false reporting. And if what the news reporters said was actually accurate and true, they should still be doing a follow up report to confirm the findings and results. If what they claimed in the news ended up being inaccurate, THEY SHOULD BE REQUIRED to follow that story up with clairty. VEry irresponsible on either account, and the whole community is now aware they we can not trust the news reporters in marion county. Weather or not she ended up being guilty, the lack of following up on this story is leaving some very loose and dangerous open ends. Either there is a child killer lurking in our commuinty and nothing has been done, or someone was falsely accused by the news and media. SOMEONE should be accountable for this, weather it's the officials who are not following up on holding her accountable, or the reporters for writing sensationalized stories in very selfish, inaccurate way. The community is watching for the closure in this story, and none has come....... I hope if this lady is innocent she has the mind to sue the crap out of the media for this mess, and if the lady is guilty, I hope someone does a lil quality check with the people responsible for investigating this and not pursing her criminally.
