I am happy to see this legislation pass unanimously. Kudos to Jeff Atwater.

Hoewver, I regret the reduction in force within the prosecutors office, but am heartened to have the rights of law abiding gun owners upheld in the recent passage of HB 503; "keep your guns locked in your car" Bill.

With more criminals being plea-bargained out of the system and thus many many more recidivistic felons on the streets, I am happy to have my individual right to defend myself / family & innocents, upheld.

they're only part of the problem, whites, blacks and mixed gangs all make up a huge problem; I'm sure there are gangs from South American countries also.

and also there may not be so much school violence that has been going on across our country in the not only high schools but middleschools by all of these bullies who think for some reason they are not accepted by the school kids of course they do not want to accept them because they bullt the holly heck out of the normal school children so lets hope this new law will keep something like columbine from happening in this state but we must find a way to make our children understand violence is not the way to solve a problem like bulliescreate in schools

Gang guys listen up.There are certain states that dont play anymore. Screw up in them and your gone for life. They are NY,NJ, Virginia,Texas and now Florida.
These new laws are just like the ones used to crush the mafia into dust. The police will be using wiretaps of your home and cellphones, survilence day and night, they will put GPS devices under your cars and monitor your bank accounts. They will follow you in the most unobvious unmarked cars and trucks so you will never know they are coming. They can get "sneak and peek" warrants that allow them to break into your homes with a locksmith ,plant audio bugs in your rooms and telephones, and you will NEVER know they were there. You are up against a force that has all the technology of NASA and a license to kill you. You are screwed!!! Leave the State of Florida now.The party is over down here .

Kill 'em all.

Get your CWP and play vigilante.

I wish I didn't have to work so I could just place myself in blantantly obvious situations where I might be robbed and cap some asses.

We seriously need to weed out the population of people that serve no good to society. If they haven't learned by age 18, they're never gonna learn it or they're gonna be some god damn savior who turned his life around that I could give 2 shits about because he already fucked up other peoples lives.

Fantastic!! Finally giving law enforcement the tools they need to go after these lowlifes.

What about funding for community programs to give the kids some focus in their lives? To show them that gang life is not the only opportunity for them.

What?

Plenty of white gang members as well my friend.

They need to be exterminated. We need a service much like a pest control company that just "gets rid of them".

What defines a 'gang'? 5 children riding their bikes around the neighborhood every day could be called a 'gang', and have their lives ruined from the start. What about car clubs? Motorcycle clubs? Fishing clubs? What about religious groups? It all may look good on the outside, but I see a back door to punish anyone who belongs to any type of organization that the 'law' may deem undesirable. Sounds to me like we're giving up yet another freedom.

Freedom to do what exactly? Deal drugs? Drive-by shootings? Gang rape? It's about time that these vicious thugs are dealt with in an appropriate manner.

Sounds good to most on this thread! I believe Walter was pointing out that YOU or I or ANYONE can be tapped, banger or not!
I like the Law's ideal, however do not trust the 'execution' abilities of Law. It will help on the streets though. Get your CWP now, as well as AKs, primers, save your casings,
and reload. Ammo is the next method to take gun rights away. Be aware
and BEWARE!!!

"Stiff Penalites" the only thing stiff the Floida Legislature approves of is what the tax payer get when they bend over. What a joke more laws and stiff pe.nile penalities....

The State of Florida should "approve" that all "Gang Leaders" recieve unregistered fully loaded handguns to help reduce gang violence..

Now listen up Hillary. If the kids on a bike, car clubs, motorcycle clubs or any other group that you mentioned starts to murder people, sell large quantities of drugs, rape, rob and terrorize the public then they deserve to have the cops up their ass. you are mixing apples with oranges as most liberals do but there is a clear difference between criminal gangs and the general public. Go renew your ACLU membership and sleep comfortably tonight.
