The shooter's lawyer can whine all he wants but the fact remains the right guy was convicted. It was a confusing case from beginning to end involving two similar cars (one carjacked at gunpoint) that were drag racing down 95 when they came upon the victims car and cut him off. There were words between the drivers and one witness testified that the shooter said "He don't know who he's F'ing with" and then chased him down and shot him. Afterwards he crowed " I just shot me a white boy!"
Granted all the witnesses were illegal immigrants and all were in custody for multiple felonies involving drugs, guns, carjackings and home invasions among other things but they all fingered the same man Gillion Graham, who had a picture of himself displaying the gun on his cell phone.
We should all be grateful that this animal with no conscience (he was laughing in court as the shooting was described) is no longer roaming our streets
Detectives Stevens and Sapino solved an unsolvable case and the DA Barbara Burns blew the defense lawyer's case right out of the water .... No wonder he's whining.

I want thank, from the bottom of my heart, the superb Delray Beach detective unit and other cooperating agencies in catching this inhumane dirty scumbag illegal immigrant after he fled to Wichita, Kansas. Also, I would like to thank Ms Barbara Burns and her meticulous text book prosecution that left no doubt in anyone’s mind who shot and killed my son, Michael Joseph Reich on July 24, 2005. Not even the defense attorney or his cowardly client Gillion Graham could dispute or defend against the overwhelming evidence in the last 1, 263 days and now finally there is justice for my son Michael Joseph. I believe the appropriate sentence should be two life sentences, one for the life of Michael and one for his own life. Also this dirty scumbag has been caught before carrying weapons since his early teens and was caught in an armed robbery one year before shooting and killing Michael. I’m trying to get new laws past so this will never happen to another loving family again.
Sincerely,
Michael Reich,(Father)

I was there through the whole trial. The jury never heard Gillion's confession because of a legal technicality. But God heard it and God saw everything. The bible says let every matter be established by two or three witnesses and it was!
I heard 4 witnesses say Gillion did it and how he bragged about it to his friends. 3 of the 4 friends are now in jail and would never want to be known as a convict who rats on his friends, but they had to tell the truth and they did. Cell phone records at the time of the shooting to his friends confirmed the conversations...
God's forgiveness is extended to murderers who repent.
1 John 1:9 says "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." but also remember the bible ends with Revelation Chapter 22... verse 14 - Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
That's a word for everybody.... WE ALL need forgiveness from God and to turn from our evil ways. AMEN

I am so happy for the family that this case can now be put to rest. Nothing has been the same since Michael's death-he was a beautiful young man who had a great deal of potential. It was a senseless act of violence and it has been many long years of pain for his family. Finally justice is served!

i miss mikey alot. think about him alot. i believe justice was served the first time. i do believe in 2nd chances, however this is not Gillions 1st offense. no more chances to do something like this again. Michael does not get a second chance . im so tired of hearing about "wrongful conviction" ,sorry.... not this time.

Paula I agree with you people do deserve second chances but not the second chance to do it again ... Not to mintion there was no sorry from him to the family .he was laughing at the trial like it was nothing ... he didnt even care that he tuck someone's life .... and his friends are still posting things like see in 40 and talking about the white people steeling the land from the Indians ... .... Lets get real lets and not pull the raceses card on this is bull shit ... he knows what he did and now he is doing the time ... We can forgive in time but will not for get .... What about Mikey's second chance he was only 19 years old for one week to the day of his death what about there family they will never get to say I love you , give hugs, kisses ever again on earth ... But they will one day in heaven .. But thais boys mother will get to gain in 40 years from now .... Justic is being served .... And we will leave it up to god .... But it is okay to be upset and mourne for someone you miss .... You Would be fighting for justic for your child too.... It's hard to forgive but it takes time for someone to do this ..,, I am a Christian too so I understand what you are saying Beverly ... May god bless every one that is involved
