EDITORIAL: Juno Beach's alibi busted
In March, Juno Beach began placing an unmarked van on the town's main roads. Inside is a camera designed to record the license plate of anyone allegedly caught speeding.

I was one of the people who recived a $125 ticket in the mail from this van. The problem is, I wasn't even in the car. The car just happens to be in my name. I bought it for my wife. She is the main driver of the car. Had she been pulled over for speeding by an actual police officer, she would have received the ticket. That's how it should work. I thought the point of the tickets were to deter people from doing whatever it is that they got the ticket for. Not just a means for the city to make a few bucks. What lesson can a person learn if they don't even get the ticket? What if a person driving a rental car speeds through Juno Beach? Does the rental car company get the ticket?

I just got a ticket as well from Juno and in the picture you see my vehical in the left lane going around another vehical. This camaera does not tell the story. It is clearly a way to generate income. It is time someone torches that van

The city of Juno knows it is clearly about money. You have to pay the ticket to a georgia address of the people who service the van. Start sending them a lot of mail with monoploy money
