Nothing would be more funny than to see government workers lose their pensions. They don't deserve them and we can't afford to pay them any more. Simply put, they are bankrupting our government and its citizens. Lets see a few of these cops mopping floors.

Why do you say they don't deserve them? Look up the word shaudenfreuder, when the WPBPD advertised for police officers, it listed all the benefits, including the pension, now you, in your limited wisdom think it is wrong, just because your job doesn't pay you a pension??? Who told you to be a roofer?

Why does one that INVESTED money in something think they can sue? If returns were guaranteed, there would be a whole lot less people on Wall St.

I agree government pensions are part of what's bankrupting all of us. When the pension funds go down like they have for the past couple years, the government just raises taxes to cover. Those of us who pay our own way in 401k contributions are going to have to play the cards dealt to us when retirement comes. What's left is what we'll live on. Not a good situation when those of us with less today are subsidizing government workers pension shortfalls. It has nothing to do with a person choosing to be a cop or a roofer. It has to do with doing what's right and that's not happening with the current system.
