Toyota is sending new gas pedal systems to its factories rather than its dealership service departments, The Associated Press learned Friday.

I am not sure if this is true but it came from a reliable knowledgable source. I was told that only the Toyotas that were made here in America have this issue. Yes some of them were reverse imported into other countries but I was told they came from the US too.

WOw.. the eat your import is true. I am not PRO us goods for everything in my life but the auto's the domestic makers are producing are of fine quality. From BIG trucks to gas savers. Toyota has been making good cars for a long time... but as the #1 maker you will feel the pain at some point. Time to buy a Ford people.

4 months ago i had a toyota prius but i sold it due to the big amount of problems it had. it was brand new but it had big errors like the brake getting stuck on the bottom of the car and also the and the power steer, some times when i was driving the car became crazy and just moved side to side with no control. also when i was in a stop light the car just moved without nobody pressing the pedal making me almost hit another car. i had to return it due to the ugly and horrible stuff it did. in my opinion toyota should close there buisnesses and stop selling until they check all there cars and guarentee that the cars are ok. they should also check the cars that have been sold in the past year by contacting the person that bought those cars like ford did ten years ago
