We attend the bull riding each year and always enjoy a well managed, well attended event. However this year,like many other people, we left with a very bad taste in our mouth. The minute it was announced scores would be readded numerous people around us commented "B.C. guy won't win!!)What a rip-off, how can a couple of people make and error in adding when you are only adding 2 scores taken out of 50 each to-gether. Sure makes your judges look bad as these would have been re-added before giving to the announcer. It would have been better to have another ride each for 1st place as the bulls were there or draw a card/ straw, whatever for the Buckle and split the 1st place prize money. We,like many others,left as soon as it was announced there was a 1 pt. error in addition, with the thought of not returning. It reminded us of a Don King sponsored boxing match with Don King boxers competing. Sorry, but this was flag waving at it's best. No one believes for a moment there was an error in addition.Note..I don't know the B.C. rider, can not even find the town he hails from on a map.
